Bookish Posts and Books Read of Week of May 7th Through May 13th
Happy Mothers Day!!! Hope you are all enjoying the weekend with your family and loved ones. Heading to the parental’s home. I didn’t go crazy this year, but got my mom her favorite box of chocolates. I had a pretty solid week and was it just me or did it go by SUPER FAST???? I can’t believe we are starting another week. My reading was pretty solid though. I was able to do some re reads this week which was a surprise but still fun. I got a couple of friends to read my favorite fantasy romance, so yeah they loved it so that made me even more thrilled. Definitely have a great week ahead of reading so I am eager to see whats in store.
(All my books read and their reviews are on Goodreads, I have linked for you)

Book Read-Mad Man by Onley James—Rating 5 Stars—Another in the Necessary Evils series and ya of course it was a five star type of read. I absolutely adored this book and seeing Avi the other twin get his romance. It was different from his brother and I really liked seeing the struggle he has being with his twin. These books are so top notch for me.
Book Re-read-Warprize by Eliabeth Vaughan—-Rating 5 Stars—i buddy read this with a couple of friends this past week and it was delightful!!! Love this book so much. Such a superb fantasy.
Book Read-The Revenge Plan by Linda Kage—Rating 4.5 Stars—This was simply delightful. Linda Kage never ceases to amaze me in how she just works for me. I wasn’t sure how this plot would turn out, but it was endearing and romantic and loved every single moment.
Book Read-Pure Providence by Aja James—Rating 4 Stars—This was a nice diversion to read here. I really enjoyed seeing the male POV of their story and very curious to see what their primary story in their later novel will turn out to be. Although they aren’t my favorite couple of the series.
Book Read-Beyond the Thistles by Samantha Young—Rating 4 Stars—This was such a neat story. I really enjoyed the way in which this one was written. I loved the unrequited love aspects to the story, the hero is so stubborn haha but he eventually gets there.
Book Listened-Abducting Abby by S.E. Smith—Rating 3.5 Stars—Such a cute alien romance!!! Absolutely loved it. The hero is a dragon shifter prince. He crashlands on Earth, and finds his fated mate. Its really fun. If are looking for something sexy and with some good laughs, highly recommend.
Book Listened—Perfect Wreckage by Catherine Cowles-Rating 5 Stars—Just loved this one. There was some mixed reviews for this one, but surprisingly I FELL in love and I am super picky with prickly heroines, but Cowles delivered completely for me, and the audio is fabulous.
Book Re-Read-Tempting the Beast by Lora Leigh—Rating 4 Stars—This was a re read for the Breeds Read Along I am hosting. This was just as delightful reading. Its been years since I read anything in this world and it felt awesome returning back to it.
Book Read-The Vampire Wardens by Lisa Renee Jones-—Rating 4 Stars—Such an interesting story and seeing this author write PNR was different. Basically the hero is a hunter of wolf shifters when turned evil by a rogue’s bite. Very fascinating seeing how this story was written and definitely had a fun time with it.

Current Reads
My current audiobook for the weekend is “Sin & Ink” by Naima Simone this is part of the Romanceopoly challenge for the challenge ” Flirt’s Corner”. Then I have the historical by Minerva Spence and super excited for this nautical adventure romance with a scarred hero in Barbarous. Then I am trying out Illicit King by Maggie Cole this is a mafia romance with a feuding family feel to it. Then I am continuing the “Stay a Spell” series with Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross this is a story I have been putting off. I like these books but something about them just keeps me from connecting, hope this one will be different. Then finishing my weekend off with Winter Igniting by Rebecca Zanetti I am SO excited to return to this series here. I just love this series and this author.

My Weekly TBR
These are books that I have for what I term a flexible TBR shelf for the week. I am working my way through not being a mood reader, and I have such a great mix of historicals, contemporary, FF, and some paranormal and dark romance. So I have a great week ahead! Isn’t the cover for the Long amazing? We need more covers like this!!!!!
