I am Lover of romance, who indulges in the romantic adventures of literature

My name is Renee, and I am the host of this site. I am a 34 year old woman, on the prowl for her mate, searching out the best of books, exploring the wilds of the imagination and delving into the heart of a beautiful love story.

I’m Renee (Lover of Romance), Blogger, Reader, Book Reviewer & lover of life

My Name is Bonnie Renee , but I like to go by either. I personally have zero preference.  I am totally addicted to romance novels.  I have always loved to read; but especially anything filled with romance and a happy ending of course. Who doesn’t? I love reading about a story, with a good intense plot, with strong characters and a writing that takes me back to the scenic circumstances of the time and place of where and when the story takes place.

I haven’t always loved to read though, it wasn’t until my father convinced me to read a book called Return To Love which is a Christian romance, and is a powerful story; and I instantly fell in love with anything romance. I am 33 years of age, live in Provo Utah, studying to be a apologist,  and I am the oldest and have four siblings, single,  I love to scrapbook, read, write, travel, hiking, going to football games, spending time with family, and just having fun with life.

I created this blog twelve years ago, because I had no family or friends that have similar interests in reading romances, This was a way to find new friends and a community of those that have the same passion for reading romance that I do…because in my mind there is nothing better than a winning love story that touches you. This blog is dedicated to my love of romances.  Hope you enjoy reading as much as I will enjoy writing!

THE BLOG

The blog is a database, a natural resource for the love of books and at the heart the love of romance. I created this blog back when romance book creators were new to the game. Long before book tok, book tube, or even bookstagram. I  founded this blog solely on the premise of having a platform by which I could share my passion and interests and find a common cause with others. I never imagined what it would become or even the inspiration that would allow it to grow into what it is today. I know that you as my readers, are the reason it is still vibrant and embracing more and more of its potential.

This Journey hasn’t been an easy one, in fact it has been pretty rough at times, trying to figure my way through my journey and discovering what I wanted to do with my site and how I yearned to implement my dream of it. At the very beginning I had no clue that it would become what it is now. It was a simple hobby at the time but now it has grown into something so much more full of purpose and the true essence of who I am.

GET TO KNOW ME

Just a few of the things that are prominently featured in my life

Love To Eat

I have never been picky, I just like something well-balanced but my cozy meal is chicken and dumplings. But I have a affinity for chocolate–with a dark caoco being my delight.

If I Wasn't A Reader

I’d probably still be a writer. I would really love to build a relationship with the community and cultivate stories.

My Favorite Music Bands

Music has always been the light of my life. There is something so connecting about music. I have very eclectic tastes but my personal favorites would be: John Denver, Billy Joel, Tchaikovsky, Zuby, Celtic Woman, Chris Stapelton.

Books I Am Most Thankful For

There are so many so it can be so hard to narrow it down but here are the books that have changed my life: Outlaw Hearts by Rosanne Bittner, This Is All I Ask by Lynn Kurland, Gables Against The Sky by Anita Stansfield.

P“"Who do you belong to?" "Jake Harkner." "You bet your ass. I own every beautiful inch of you." "And I own you, Jake Harkner."

Do Not Forsake Me-Rosanne Bittner

“I no longer believed in the idea of soul mates, or love at first sight. But I was beginning to believe that a very few times in your life, if you were lucky, you might meet someone who was exactly right for you. Not because he was perfect, or because you were, but because your combined flaws were arranged in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together.”

Blue Eyed Devil-Lisa Kleypas

She would cherish the feeling for the rest of her life. She couldn't imagne some like Dare again. Someone who she could trust without question, someone who she could reveal her darkest parts and deepest desires to, someone who made her feel beautiful for wanting things. And who gave those things to her with such incredible generosity and passion.
