Bookish Posts and Books Read of Week of March 5th through March 11th
This week was a bit warmer which I am thankful for and we got some rain so its the first rain for spring and I am all for it. Work was crazy this week due to spring break and my boss let HALF our team off. Like really? I was not happy with my work leaders this past week. My reading was SO solid and I picked up some solid reads. Didn’t stick strictly with my TBR as I picked up some side reads. I am at 10 reads and Untouched got me to 100 reads so far!
(All my books read and their reviews are on Goodreads, I have linked for you)

Book Read-Richer Than Sin by Meghan March—Rating 4 Stars–This is the introduction to our couple here. We get half the story with flashbacks, and it had a feel of a southern soap opera. This is a forbidden love story, with family feuds.
Book Read-Guilt As Sin—Rating 4 Stars—Coming off a cliffhanger from book one, this kicks off right from where book one ends. We see this couple realize what they have to fight for and to stand together no matter what.
Book Read-Reveling in Sin by Meghan March—Rating 5 Stars—Absolutely adored the finale. The couple really came together in this one, and were so united and worked as a team and they were so strong together and loved seeing that.
Book Read-Reckless Memories by Catherine Cowles—Rating 4 Stars–This was such an endearing small town romance and seeing this second chance romance develop. I can’t wait to explore this world from Catherine Cowles.
Book Listened-Down With Love by Kate Meader—Rating 4 Stars—Such a fun banter filled romance with some angst. I loved seeing this opposites attract come together. It was so entertaining.
Book Read-Hero by Anna Hackett—Rating 4 Stars—This continues the sci fi series and I absolutely am having a BLAST with these gladiators. This was a fling trope, with a military hero.
Book Read-Desperately Seeking a Scoundrel—Rating 4 Stars—What a loveable story this turned out to be. I really enjoyed seeing these two come together and having a redemption arc of the hero.
Book Read-The Tragedy of Felix and Jake by J.Daniels—Rating 5 Stars—This book is my favorite read of the week! This book completely blew me away. J.Daniels returned to writing with a kick ass of a book.
Book Read-Embracing Her Heart by Melissa Foster—Rating 4 Stars—Such a likeable read. Not my favorite from this author, but a solid read! Its small town, second chance, great family dynamics. I do love how well Melissa Foster balances steam with heart!
Book Read-Untouchable by Anna Campbell—Rating 4.5 Stars-This book was bonkers but so much fun! It had a bit of a darker gothic feel to the story. But we basically have the hero and heroine brought together into a bad situation, and they team together to fight off the evil forces against them. Its just so precious and beautiful. I highly recommend it if you are fans of historical romance, especially the classic age of Avon romance.

So my current mood is some good alpha male. So I am first listening to “Unforgiven” by Rebecca Zanetti, and then I will be focusing on reading the majority of these books over the weekend!

My Weekly TBR
These are books that I have a rough TBR for, I normally don’t like a super strict TBR as I tend to be a mood reader, so I might get to these books but depending on my mood, I might not get to all of them, but I will endeavor to try with these. I have some great books lined up this week!

How Was This Past Week For You? Any Great Books You Were Able to Pick Up? Let Me Know In The Comments Below!
I never understand when leadership lets so many people have the same days off. It’s kind of not fair to the ones who have to pick. up the slack. Glad you are enjoying some warmer temps. Always nice to see spring rearing its head. Hope you have another stupendous reading week
I hope next week will be easier for you! And I get the understaffed thing…
You had a very good week. Sadly, my blogging week wasn’t a good one. First internet went down, and we waited for a new box then my computer decided to not work. Happily, all is well now. Enjoy your week.
In a school district they get pretty picky and block off days that people can’t take off with pay. Although I don’t know if they actually enforce it or not. We have people who already turned in their notice for next school year who take at least one day a week off for the rest of the year. But since they won’t get paid for any leftover sick days when they leave, I understand I guess. Meghan March is a favorite author of mine. I read the new Meghan Quinn book last week and loved it. Hope this week is better for you!

You always get so many books read and I am so impressed! I hope you like Destructive King. Ten Tiny Breaths was one of my first reads when I got back into reading years ago. LOVED it!
It can be a pain to deal with things when you are left short-staffed. We had some rain this week too. I guess it is the season. I really do want to read those Zanettis books!
We are getting SO MUCH RAIN today, so I feel your pain on the rain. I’m glad you got to read and loved J. Daniels’ book.
The temps have finally started to warm here too, but we’re dipping back to mid forties this next week. Thankfully it’s just rain in the forecast and not snow! Sorry you had to deal with short staff. Hopefully this week was better for you. I definitely want to check out The Tragedy of Felix and Jake by J.Daniels after seeing it was your favorite read.
Sorry for the late comment back! I got back so late on Wednesday, unpacked and cleaned on Thursday and worked yesterday. I need a vacation from my vacation! I’ll catch up more on your posts in a bit.
