This is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I have actually received such great feedback for this weekly post, so I will be doing this weekly. I am so excited as I always have such great recommendations as I read all over the genre and my hope is that I can share recs that are for all the sub genres if I can! The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope or character type. If you have a trope or theme or character type you want me to put at the top of my list, I have a form that I have created that will just automatically upload into my spreadsheet and I will put it at the top of my list! I feel like as book bloggers, reviewers, readers, we all have great lists to share and this is what I hope I can do for any that want to expand their horizons in the romance genre.

This is a Victorian Era historical romance, has some great found family elements with great banter. Loretta Chase really knows how to write her wit and charm.

This has some great runaway bride elements. The hero helps rescue the heroine from her situation. I do think this is the best Elsie Silver written. SO much better than Heartless. Has a road trip,

This is where the heroine is in a bad spot and runs from a fiancee who is abusive and she knows it. The hero is hired to find her, but realizes the truth behind the circumstances and claims her for his own and its awesome! This is one of my more favorite Kleypas books that are so underrated. This whole series is underappreciated by Kleypas fans. So if you haven’t read it, read it!!

This is a heroine leaving a situation and ends up in a misunderstanding with the hero type of set up. Has a good winter feel to the story, and its KA so you know the dialogue is rockin’.

This is one of my top favorite contemporaries, and has such a great runaway bride feel to it! It will have you laughing all over the place, great meet cute, and you can easily read this in one sitting!

This book just has my heart! And I just love this cover so much! This is a bad boy romance. If you are fans of Elsie Silver, then you definitely need to pick up this author.

So what do you think of my recommendations for “Runaway Bride”? What are some of your favorites that I need to add to my TBR? Let me know in the comments below!

Ooh! I read the Kylie Scott book, but i know I have read more runaway bride books. Fun topic. Would not have thought of this. The Laura Dave book, Eight Hundred Grapes. The daughter shows up in her dress after fleeing her fitting. Kind of runaway bride. The Playboy by Carly Phillips too.

I have read 2 of the books that you featured here. I remember loving Worth Any Price but it has been a long time. I may have to do a re-read soon. Dirty was a fun read from what I remember.

Runaway brides are so fun in romance! I loved Powerless and Dirty. I was also a fan of Rachel Gibson’s Simply Irresistible, Tessa Bailey’s Runaway Girl, Rockaway Bride by Pippa Grant, and Shine Not Burn by Elle Casey. To throw another fun one in the mix, Willow Aster & Laura Pavlov have a great runaway groom book called Wanted Wed or Alive. Fun post!
