Hey beautiful people. So Fast Five Friday is a weekly meme I will be hosting every Friday. Where just a handful of recommendations based on a certain subgenre or theme will be shared. These are just quick and my top recs for whatever topic we are doing. And this is a great way to share some quick recommendations to kick off the weekend. Feel free to comment and let me know your recommendations and what you think of the books I am recommending.

The topic for today are books that are within the Science Fiction Romance sub genre. This isn’t a super common sub genre, at least not for Humans in outer space. Alien romance is gaining popularity, but today I wanted to showcase romance between humanoid forms because I like my peeps humanoid mostly. haha (Scandalous thought I know)

Lord of the Storm by Justine Davis is the wonderful book. I couldn’t get enough of the vibes in this one. Very star wars vibes within it. There is a strong sense of family connection but also has a powerful plot that is beyond endearing. If you are fans of Jessie Mihalik, I highly recommend it.

Gabriel’s Ghost by Linnea Sinclair is a superb story in every way. Definitely a mix of star trek with star wars. Those who have read this author know what that means lol I love how she writes humans adventuring in outer space. Its very classic sci fi.

Grim by M.K. Eidem what a fabulous book and really all the books I have read in this series have been wonderful. This is a royal romance dealing with a dying people and no females and a king who goes in search for a compatible female. If you have a softness for tortured scarred heroes, pick this one up here.

Close Liasons by Anna Zaires This has a bit of a darker bent to it, so if you love a good dark romance, then this is the series for you. Its utterly fabulous and is also a great series to work your way into the subgenre. This has a setup of where its fated mates, kidnapping and a alpha hero.

Knightmaster by Anna Hackett Anna Hackett is very well known for her sci fi romances but I highly recommend her more recent series into Sci fi, they are such a blast. Lots of suspense and adventure and passionate romances being explored.

The only SF romance I have read is Ruby Dixon. Her books are so fun!

I do not think I have read any adult scifi romances. Though, when I have dabbled in scifi, I lean space opera.

I love all the Linnea Sinclair books I’ve read and I’ve read a novella in the Grim series so I want to go back for the rest. My favorite human SFR series are Veronica Scott’s The Sectors and Carol Van Nattas Central Galactic Concordance.
