Hey beautiful people. So Fast Five Friday is a weekly meme I will be hosting every Friday. Where just a handful of recommendations based on a certain subgenre or theme will be shared. These are just quick and my top recs for whatever topic we are doing. And this is a great way to share some quick recommendations to kick off the weekend. Feel free to comment and let me know your recommendations and what you think of the books I am recommending.
So today I wanted to share some recommendations of some solid Romantic Comedy romances. This is not a sub genre I read too much in though as you all know and so many of them these days have covers that I am just not for. But I do have some authors that when I get in a certain mindset, I want to pick up and really write great rom coms to enjoy.
It Had To Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips SEP writes some of the BEST rom com’s I have ever read. I just love how classic rom com these feel. They have so much emotioni and heart along with it and great character developments and it has sassy heroines that are so likeable which is rare these days.
The Accidental Countess by Emma Hart Such a charming read and really anything you read from this author will be fun. These are charming, funny and so infectious. She has so many fun setups in her books while having some beautiful emotion along the way.
In Bed with the Beast by Tara Sivec This is basically if you blend in rom com with fairytale retellings and this has the most hilarious premise haha Tara Sivec is a hoot to read and really entertains.
That Secret Crush by Meghan Quinn Meghan Quinn is queen when it comes to rom coms. I know you aren’t surprised to see her on this list. She isn’t for everyone, but she really works for me and is an author I need to read more often, I just have to be in a certain mindset to read rom coms. But these books by this author is probably my favorite. I loved the setting and this family were so endearing.
Stumbling Into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds This series from this author is HILARIOUS. Like so funny you will fall off your seat laughing so hard.
I tend to steer clear of rom-coms as the humor usually veers into the silly/OTT variety. Not my thing. But I did enjoy Quinn’s Getting Lucky series. It was fun seeing the brothers each get their HEA.
Yes! I am also very picky about them. Its why I don’t pick them up too much but these authors do them really balanced in my opinion. I don’t go for the silly romance

I actually read four of these, but I do love rom-coms. Quinn, Hart, and Sivec are go-tos when I want some funny. They have never let me down. I read the SEP a long time ago and though I recall enjoying it, I cannot remember much else.
I LOVE rom-coms! Quinn is my favorite author for this along with Pippa Grant. Willow Aster & Laura Pavlov also have a great series together.
