Fast Five Friday: Erotic Romance

Hey beautiful people. So Fast Five Friday is a weekly meme I will be hosting every Friday. Where just a handful of recommendations based on a certain subgenre or theme will be shared. These are just quick and my top recs for whatever topic we are doing. And this is a great way to share some quick recommendations to kick off the weekend. Feel free to comment and let me know your recommendations and what you think of the books I am recommending.

Today my topic will be Erotic Romance. This is actually a really good subgenre but tends to sometimes get overlooked within the genre at times. Now this is NOT to be mixed in with erotica. Erotica and Erotic Romance are two completely different things. So what is the difference? Well Erotica is just about sex only, no substance just for sexual purposes. However, Erotic Romance is where the emotional connection is built within the sexual moments between the couple. Some of the most beautiful books that I have read have been within this sub genre.

Make Me by Beth Kery– This author does some of the beautiful erotic romances. They have a very classy feel to them. I love the growth and connection that author builds within these stories. She writes gold mines and definitely deserves more love and attention.

The Greatest Risk by Kristen Ashley-KA has written some true treasures but this whole series shocked me, this book was probably my favorite of some of KA. I just love how she delivered here and the way she developed this series was so epic. The character development in this book is unreal and the romance so deep and intimate.

A Lesson in Thorn by Sierra Simone-Sierra Simone writes some of the most majestic erotic romances in the genre. I love the depth and character connections. She really crafts such stories that captivate you and are SPICY. She definitely knows how to tie such intimacy so well.

Stroke of Midnight by K. Webster– This story is a trilogy but is so well done. K. Webster writes some fabulous stuff. This is a Cinderella retelling but some of the sexual things that happen in this book aren’t going to be for everyone. But it really works for this couple in these sexual moments together.

Asking For It by Lilah Pace– This story was so different from anything I had ever read. What I loved about this one here was how the fetish was handled. This deals with rape fantasy. It has so deep emotion in it and seeing our characters really connect together was beautiful. Its also very unique as I have never read a romance that features this and was quite a experience in the reading of it.
