Happy Hallows Eve y’all. I don’t know about you but I love celebrating. I don’t go crazy and neither do I really decorate for it. But I do enjoy having a nice cozy meal, staying in and relaxing with a movie or a good book. I have some nice treats planned. So today I wanted to do a fun book tag, and I will just be choosing books read from this year.
Creepy House on the corner of the street: Book with a creepy cover
This was a book that I picked up due to a book club read. But the cover is really creepy with that skull and everything. Love it.
Lights out (Party Poopers): A book you want to read whe you want to escape
Rereading this series this year was the BEST feeling ever! I am so glad I was able to participate in this read along and I definitely think I want to reread these much more often because every time I do, its like meeting up with a old friend.
The House that gives out the cheap candy: Guilty pleasure book
This book still baffles me in why I love it so much but its honestly brilliant and the best bully romance I have ever read in my life. And I have convinced a few friends to read it as well. This book is one of those books that I definitely feel guilty sometimes. Its content makes me wonder about myself but I love it so much so I also have no shame when it comes to this one here. haha
The house with the best decorations on the block: Best haunting/Halloween themed cover
This has the best cover for Halloween vibes that I have read this year. Even though this book wasn’t my favorite from this author, this cover is spooky and GORGEOUS! I just love it so much. She did a great job with it.
The house that gives out the best candy: #1 Halloween recommendation
I would recommend to this one to everyone that likes romance. It’s the perfect Halloween book you could EVER pick up. Its historical set, has gothic vibes, plenty of mystery and intrigue, and is set around a castle-like setting that is more remote. So has some beauty and beast vibes a bit.
Speed Round
Corn Maze or Haunted House?
Corn Maze –I am more into the harvest things over scary things
Classic or Unique Costume?
Classic but in all honesty, I am not one for costumes anymore
Sexy or Scary Costume?
If I had to choose, sexy always!
Comedy or Horror Halloween Film?
Comedy! My goto is Hocus Pocus and Blackbeard Ghost, although I do have a soft spot for those Hitchcock films. It really depends on my mood.
Chocolate or Sour Candy?
Chocolate always.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN FOLKS! HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A SPOOKY HALLOWS EVE!
Happy Halloween!
I love that cover of the Audrey Rush book. Creepy.. but still gorgeous!
What a fun tag! I loved seeing which books you chose. I meant to do a Halloween tag, but I don’t know that I’m going to get to it this year.
guilty pleasure = house that gave cheap candy <– HA! I like corn mazes better too. I am all about the puzzles.
This tag seems like fun. That first cover, Grave Love, is both creepy and stunning. I’d pick it for the cover alone. So pretty 🙂
I’m not into the costumes since I was a kid and never have been into really scary things so Halloween is a bit of a “half” holiday for me. Fun tag responses.
