I found this book tag while browsing and it sounds so cute that I knew I just had to try to it out. For this book tag I am focusing on books that I have read this year. Its always fun to do these holiday book tags, especially as it gets closer to Halloween! Can you believe we are just little over a week away for it?
Witch-A magical character or book
This is one of my favorite magical creatures I have ever read, and there is so much intrigue and mystery and gothic feels with it.
Werewolf-the perfect book to read at night
This has the best spooky vibes to the atmosphere of the story and definitely this one is best to read at night because of how creepy it can be!
Frankenstein-A book that truly shocked you
This one shocked me because there are psychic abilities and almost feelings of ghosts and magic to it. I have never seen this author write this type of elements in a story so I fell hard for it.
The Devil-A dark, evil character
The villain in this book is truly evil. He forces couples to have sex with each other and when they fall in love with each other his plans are to kill them both. Its pretty twisted and messed up.
Grim Reaper-A character that never should have died
(SPOILER AHEAD) In the series, the hero of this book dies in a future book and yeah I am still SALTY about it lol I know this couple had fifteen happy years together but STILL. I am so tempted to write the author but don’t really want to give her negative things. haha
Zombie-A book that made you “hungry” for more
This series was NOT enough! I so needed more for it. Especially the way it wraps up the author gives us a teaser and she did say in the last book that she was planning on writing some novellas and that NEVER happened. So Rebecca Zanetti we need these books haha
Gargoyle- A character that you would protect at all cost
Cassie, Elizabeth’s daughter is a character I would DIE and protect for. She is honestly so charming and so sweet and seeing how she is treated in her own book just broke my heart. Cassie I would die for.
Vampire-A book that sucked the life out of you
This prompt I am guess is a more negative aspect. So I am going to put out The Broken Vows. This book I had such excitement for and it turned out to be a hot mess and just took out any happiness I was feeling when I started it.
Ghost-A book that still haunts you
Archer’s Voice is a book that still live rent free in my brain even though I originally read this at the beginning of the year. CRAZY~ I can’t believe how much I still love this book.
Demon-A book that really scared you
This book and really what I have read from the series has been so INTENSE and scary. I can’t believe it. I am normally fine with most dark romances, but then one is just not the case at all. This one has been so intimidating and almost sad in some respects.
Skeleton-A Character you have a bone to pick with
This heroine needs a lesson on how to treat your man. She basically played with him and toyed with his emotions and manipulated him constantly to change him because who he was wasn’t enough for her and she wasn’t willing to accept him for the man he was. She is very snarky (which I can handle a snarky heroine but it was overkill) and she tends to demean the hero for being a responsible father at times. I honestly don’t understand the love for this heroine because she is the sole reason this book was a hot mess and doesn’t treat the hero decently. So yeah, not a fan of heroines being emotionally abusive and I am sorry y’all if you loved her but she really is with Kai.
Mummy-A book you would preserve throughout time
For those that have read this one, I am sure I don’t have to say anything about this other than this book should live forever~
Creepy Doll-A cover too scary to look at
This is one of the scariest book covers I have read all year! Just gives me chills.
This is a fun tag. It’s interesting how we all take away different things from books. I totally didn’t get that feeling about Miller in Caught Up.
What a great post! So much fun!
This was fun. Tough prompts for me. I would be so upset if one of the characters in a romance series died. What fresh hell is that!
