This is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I don’t know if it will be a weekly feature but I might just make it one if it’s popular enough! So let me know if you love this feature. The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope or character type.

Today I want to share “Road Trips”, I know that this is a well loved trope and if written correctly, I definitely love this trope as well. It can be such a fun one to read because its interesting to see a couple grow together on an adventure together basically traveling around. So below I have shared my top picks for you. I have tried to also share a mix of sub genres, this is mostly common in historicals but there are some good ones in other sub genres.

This book is at the TOP of my list for Road Trip Adventures. If you love historical romance, then this must be at the top of your list. Its basically a adventure from London to Scotland, lots of witty humor and just fun sexy times with our pairing.

This is probably one of the more well known ones, I absolutely adored this one here. Meghan Quinn is quickly becoming a favorite author and I loved seeing all the traveling we get to see in this story.

If you love paranormal this is one of my favorite road trips in that genre. Christine Feehan really delivered on this book. Its super entertaining, a fated mates, featuring a traveling music group and the heroine is their mechanic and lots of delicious chemistry and humor.

This is a fantasy romance that ends up being a unrequited love/road trip adventure. The chemistry and pining is so brilliant and just love seeing these two grow in their romantic relationship as they travel around the lands in the world.

If you are a fan of westers, then this is a road trip that you must give a try. It does have a bit of a love triangle with a mail order bride set up. The heroine is engaged to the brother of the hero. But along the road trip back home, they end up falling for each other. Its truly sweet and endearing.

I absolutely adored this so much. If you love sci fi adventures, then this is definitely one for you. And Jessie Mihalik is such a fun author to read. Lots of great chemistry and laughs and strong characters who are evenly matched.

This is a fun one if you are a fan of contemporary sports romances. This features a hero that is an MMA fighter, and the heroine helps with his injuries along the way for their tour.

This takes you from the shores of England to a distant island and its super super fun! If you want a fun light pirate romance, then this is one you definitely need to look into. Its a blast of a fun time!

I absolutely adored this one here. This is one of the best contemporary romances out there, so if you love a fun road trip with a broody hero and fun bantering, you definitely need to grab this one up.

If you love sci fi romance, then you definitely need to check this one out and the whole series. Most of the books all have road trip themes to it. Its such a fun outer space adventure.

I liked all those VIP books, though I am trying to remember details about the road trip. I love road trip books. The first that came to my mind were the Runaway books by Devney Perry. Plenty of driving in those. I adored A Thousand Miles by Bridget Morrissey too.

Loved Real, Royally Not Ready, and Managed. I second Sam’s Runaway books and add a few others: The Mother Road and The Romantic Pact by Meghan Quinn, Overruled by Emma Chase, and Ball Peen Hammer by Lauren Rowe.

I love the road trip trope in a romance. Neat that you included some from various subgenres. I’ve only read the Jessie Mahalik one.

Road trip books can be so much fun! I recently finished a road trip book called Miles and Miles of You. The Kerrelyn Sparks series was a lot of fun too.
