Recommend It: Road Trip Adventure

This is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I have actually received such great feedback for this weekly post, so I will be doing this weekly. I am so excited as I always have such great recommendations as I read all over the genre and my hope is that I can share recs that are for all the sub genres if I can! The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope or character type. If you have a trope or theme or character type you want me to put at the top of my list, I have a form that I have created that will just automatically upload into my spreadsheet and I will put it at the top of my list! I feel like as book bloggers, reviewers, readers, we all have great lists to share and this is what I hope I can do for any that want to expand their horizons in the romance genre.

So today the topic/theme/character type I am focusing on is: Road Trip Romances. There is such a strong feeling of adventure that you can find with road trips. Now I will be honest the genres I prefer this trope in is historical romance or fantasy romances. I am not a big fan of them in contemporary romance, but there are some I have found it well written. I have below a short list of some of my favorites.

Even though I originally read this book years ago, and have had the opportunity to read plenty of road trip adventures since then, but this one has still remained a top favorite of mine. Absolutely adored everything about this one. This is where we have a heroine who is lame on one leg, has shakespearan themes, plenty of adventure and a smexy scene in a barn.

This is such a delightful read. This is a contemporary romance, with MMA fighter and the heroine is his physical therapist to help manage his fitness through his matchups and LOVE these two together. Katy Evans is so entertaining to read.

This is such an adventure filled story especially in the later half we really see our couple travel over the seas and its so delightful! Just love this couple so much, and their romance is adorable and fun.

If you are a fan of Jessie Mihalik and Catherine Spangler, than I definitely recommend this author to you. She is delightful and writes some fabulous sci fi romances with plenty of intrigue and adventure!

Such a delightful romance that delves into the French American war and its so authentic to the historical details while well balanced out with a great adventure for our couple.

This was such a superb adventure! Loved this king and queen getting together. Their courting and traveling together was beyond endearing with a slight sense of magic.

The hero and heroine go on a trip around Europe for a revenge plot and its delightful haha Jessica Sims balances out PNR elements with humor just perfectly. If you love authors like Molly Harper, then I highly recommend reading this one.

McLayne really knows how to write such an adventure filled romance and this one really has so much unique plot building and great characters you can get behind. Loved their road trip in this one.

Amy Sandas writes delightfully, and this series she delivered her most polished of writing. There is so much fun traveling in this one here, and its so well portrayed.

Kristen Callihan delivers all the way and Managed is no different. Adored this book in every way! And if you want some fun traveling, witty banter and strong displayed chemistry, then you need to pick this one up.
