This is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I have actually received such great feedback for this weekly post, so I will be doing this weekly. I am so excited as I always have such great recommendations as I read all over the genre and my hope is that I can share recs that are for all the sub genres if I can! The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope or character type. If you have a trope or theme or character type you want me to put at the top of my list, I have a form that I have created that will just automatically upload into my spreadsheet and I will put it at the top of my list! I feel like as book bloggers, reviewers, readers, we all have great lists to share and this is what I hope I can do for any that want to expand their horizons in the romance genre. I am also changing how I do this a bit. I was putting some of these in Trope Tuesday for my Instagram post, but figured those who support my blog should get the recommendations FIRST! You are my team. So I will be doing this post before Trope Tuesday so that you lovelies can get these first!

The heroine in the story is a chef and inherits her mother’s bistro on Silver Island. And this is where the foodie themed in the romance happens. I really loved the vibe of this story and how the couple meet up many times around the “bistro”.

This whole series has “Foodie” themes. So in reality I am recommending the whole series. This series is based off of a group of female friends who run a restaraunt together. In this book specifically, the heroine is in charge of the wine bar. It just has such a classy vibe to the story in running a upscale food place. (As I once worked in a high end food place, I related so well to how everything operates)

I absolutely love this whole trilogy. Its SUPER fun and sexy. And each book has some type of food theme to it. In this book, the theme is the hero is a local farmer and the heroine is a private chef. If you like forbidden love type feel of books, where you don’t know how they would reach a HEA, then definitely grab this up here.

This whole series has some type of food theme to it. In this one the heroine bakes pies haha. Also if you are looking for something with more feminine heroines, then you need to pick these up. I love how strong her heroines are (even if they are flawed) but also embrace the traditional lifestyle and aren’t ashamed of it.

In this one the foodie theme is the hero posing as a craft beer owner. And I really found this aspect to be so interesting and really loved how this author implemented it.

I really enjoyed the charm of the foodie love that Meghan Quinn writes in this one. This involved a venture into setting up a restaurant, but it also has a return to hometown feel with a great unrequited love theme of a pining heroine. And its adorable.

Bad For You and really the whole trilogy does set around the “Whitecaps” Restaurant, so I have really enjoyed the fun flair that J.Daniels has used with the foodie theme in these books and highly recommend them and they are perfect summer reads!

I absolutely adored this book! It has a strong foodie theme to it but also is combined with a beauty and brast theme. And I adored this book here. The angst is just perfection.

This is a erotic romance, and a BDSM themed as well. The heroine works with food in this one but this one is such a refreshing read. If you are wanting a well fleshed out BDSM romance that is well balanced with the steam, you need to pick this author up (Oh and she gets the BDSM lifestyle correct, this is no fifty shades)

If you would like to give me your requests for what type of recs you would like in a recommend it post, I have a link HERE so that I can put them at the top of the line!

So what do you think of my recommendations for “foodie themed romances”? What are some of your favorites that I need to add to my TBR? Let me know in the comments below!

I LOVE that MQ series. I read three, and that is the one I still need to read.

I saw one of J.T Geissinger’s books recommended in booktok but not sure if it’s this one. I haven’t read many foodie books but I remember enjoying Muffin Top by Tabatha Kiss

I loved the MQ series, the AC series, and the JD series. All are fantastic and those books do have great food. I also read a Rachel Higginson series with food that was fun.

I really loved that Meghan Quinn series. One foodie book that comes to mind is Make It Sweet by Kristen Callihan. The hero was constantly cooking yummy treats!
