This is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I have actually received such great feedback for this weekly post, so I will be doing this weekly. I am so excited as I always have such great recommendations as I read all over the genre and my hope is that I can share recs that are for all the sub genres if I can! The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope or character type. If you have a trope or theme or character type you want me to put at the top of my list, I have a form that I have created that will just automatically upload into my spreadsheet and I will put it at the top of my list! I feel like as book bloggers, reviewers, readers, we all have great lists to share and this is what I hope I can do for any that want to expand their horizons in the romance genre.
So today the topic/theme/character type I am focusing on is: Rodeo Romance. This is where in most cases the hero is a bull rider or one of the main characters are athletes in the rodeo. I love a fun rodeo and always love a sexy western athlete!!!

This one is wonderful and even though the sport itself isn’t super focused on, its a beautiful romance that delivers in all the feels and has some unlikeable tropes that are so delicately handled!! Definitely deserves some swoon awards!
Jennifer Ryan is a cowboy queen and she delivers on this champion rodeo rider so well.
This author has a WHOLE series devoted to the rodeo and I really loved how atmospheric of a western her writing style is. Definitely enjoyed this one and recommend it.
This author handles a sexy bull rider so very well. I loved how rich she makes a cowboy in her books and this one is one of my favorites from this author. I can’t recommend her enough.
This is a western set in California and love seeing a non typical setting for a western. Kate Peace is a wonderful author to read. Lots of fun dynamics and charm in the writing.
Donna Grant delivers ALWAYS!!! I just love especially her westerns. Its always so atmospheric!

Such a sexy romance, this author really surprised me in how much I ended up loving how she wrote this rodeo romance. Definitely has a wild romance feel to the story.
This is an author I can’t recommend enough. She is very underrated in my opinion and love a female rodeo athlete, those are much more rare.
One of the best heartwarming authors to read for westerns, and even though this is a novella, this is such a wonderful bull rider romance. I love the small town rodeo it showcases.
This is a fun competing romance. I love seeing characters challenging each other for something they both want career wise. And plus Carolyn Brown writes the best atmospheric westerns!
I haven’t read much of this author but what I have read is very fun to read. Loved the level of stakes that enter this relationship and love a good amnesia romance. Definitely a unique dynamic with these two.

I honestly cannot recall having read a bull rider hero book. I feel like I should. I know the Silver are popular. Maybe I will try that one.
I do enjoy Carolyn Brown’s rodeo heroes! I to read Linda Lael Miller. Lorelei James and Maisey Yates also feature rodeo riders. I do love a sexy cowboy!
I’m trying to think if I’ve read any rodeo romances and I can’t think of any. Silver’s Reckless is on my TBR, though!
