Five Finger Challenge

by | Oct 27, 2022 | Tea and Biscuits Discussions | 8 comments

This is a fun reading challenge that I saw on Instagram and I thought it would make for such a fun post. Its called the Five Finger Book Challenge, its basically a book tag for five picks for books. So if you like it too, come join in the fun! Now since I have read so many books, this will just be books for this year that I have read. But feel free to put in your on timeframe, this is just for FUN!

Thumbs Up:

These are the books that if I had to choose for just this year alone, they would be my top choices that were a most definite thumbs up! They were all superb reads and did so much for my reading! I can’t express how much I adored these books and definitely delivered all the way this year.

Pointer Finger: Books I Always Recommend

These will be books that I can’t recommend enough! And they are also books from various sub genres that are delightul and I think are books that all of you would enjoy!

Middle Finger: Book I Disliked

These were all books that I was super excited for but just didn’t quite meet up to expectations. They were disliked for various reasons and you can check my goodreads reviews, if you want more info on why they didn’t quite work out for me but I truly struggled with all of these books and they were titles that I had super high hopes on. Its always a struggle to come across books that don’t work for you right?

Ring Finger: Character I’d Marry

These books ALL have heroes that are top notch and if they asked me to marry them, I would instantly say YES haha No hesitation.

Pink: Book I Pink Swear To Read

I PROMISE I plan on reading these books!!! haha I will get to them, these are all super hyped but they are on my active TBR wishlist, so I do have these all in the plans. I think Archer’s Voice I am the most nervous about but I hear its superb. So I can’t wait for it.

Ha! That’s a clever tag you found and doesn’t get too long. I’d have to stick to this year, too, since I read like a house afire. That Pinky swear category is sooo overloaded for me. 🙂

I remember enjoying Bet Me quite a bit but I read that one a long time ago. Fun to see Mr. Perfect on your list. It has been more than 15 years since I read that one.

This is a fun post! I’ve read quite a few of these and I’m thrilled that Aja made it to your recs list 🙂
Middle finger books were quickly listed as books I won’t be touching lol
I hope you finally get to your pinky-sweared books. It’s been a long while, but I remember absolutely enjoying both Archer’s Voice and Punk 57.

How fun. I love Christine Feehan and Shadow Fire was really good.

I laughed when the middle finger was for books you didn’t like. That’s hilarious! Anyhow, I thought I wasn’t going to have read any of these books, but then I got to the ring finger (I read 3 of these). Jonah from a Simple Wild would be mine (if only I were younger). I have been meaning to reach Archer’s Voice for years.

Praise is one that’s high on my TBR. I definitely want to read it soon. Without You wasn’t a favorite but I still enjoyed it. Would I marry Kulti? Yes. Would I marry Jonah? Yep. Would I marry Tyler (Tied)? Another yes. Sugar Daddies surprised me in a good way. And Archer’s Voice will forever be a favorite.
