Best Winter Reads of 2023-2024

Welcome to another Tea and Biscuits, so today I wanted to share with you all the amazing books that I was able to read this past winter. This post is a bit behind haha so I do apologize on the delay of it. But eager to share the best works that I indulged in with this winter.

I rarely read Non Fiction and especially not memoirs but when I saw this one, I just had to grab it up and I absolutely loved it.

What a fabulous story this one turned out to be. Its a magical realism romance and so fascinating. It is fade to black but definitely worth the hype in my opinion. The love letters between these two was so spectacular.

This duo for this couple was so captivating. I couldn’t get enough of these books. It really tackles some tough issues while being so endearing and sweet at times.

Jay Crownover writes some wonderful things and I have been working through her backlist and this is my favorite from her. There is something that just is “more” about her Point books. Respect was superb and the forbidden love was just right.

One of my favorite Le Veque books, it had such a beautiful Christmas message with it. I love how this author doesn’t spin away from Christian messages that were common back in these time era’s. And the family feels in this one strike deep.

Well this book packed such a punch and its a deep one! Its her first MM romance. So I do think for her first time it was well done. What really impressed me was the emotion behind it, and the difficult issues that are tackled in such a beautiful way.

The Boys of Tommen books are so great here. I was expecting lots of inner angst, but honestly it was so REFRESHING having a YA/NA that didn’t have inner angst, the conflicts were out of the relationship.

Amy Harmon never ceases to amaze me here. She writes such heartfelt emotional reads that just dig deep to your heart and I love that she writes fade to black and its so flawlessly mastered.

this book completely BLEW ME AWAY! It was perfection and one of her best books in my opinion. I just couldn’t get enough of it. I also was fascinated because of the way that the single dad/nanny was written. The heroine was so sweet and kind and she is the perfect nanny.

I had been nervous over these books especially with loving Gothikana so much. But these books are even BETTER, at least for me they are.

I had a blast with this one and this whole world is really fascinating. I love the fascinating epic fantasy feel to the world that is done here.

Becka Mack writes superb books and she really made a book work for me that I didn’t think would. Such a fabulous hockey romance, one of the best I have read. Especially if you love the playboy hero/sassy heroine mix.
