News
This week has been kinda crazy. I am still not doing good with my blood pressure. My doctor upped my prescription doses, and thinks there might be something else going on so she wants me to get my heart checked before she changes the medication. I know some people have conveyed a change in my diet and exercise, I am already doing that and have been for a few weeks. But then I got the worst oral infection, I woke up in so much pain and it cost way more than I would have liked so I haven’t been reading that much this week unfortunately and this weekend has been rough. The pain meds prescribed aren’t working at all, so I am really hoping these antibiotics kick in soon. I am just overwhelmed, when it rains it pours I guess. But I have really enjoyed conference so far, so many positive messages of faith and hope. I am trying to stay positive though and not get discouraged, this weekend has just been overwhelming, scary and being in this amount of pain isn’t fun. What a way to kick off a new month haha

Currently Reading
This is my current book although I haven’t read hardly any of it so far, I am having the worst time trying to concentrate because of the pain so I will probably wait until the pain dies down before I will actually be able to get to it.
Currently Listening
I just haven’t been in the mood to listen to much lately, so still in the middle of this. I am trying to get caught up on my romance podcasts and booktube, but will return to this one soon.

I just love this cover here, with the red hues, her beautiful medieval era dress, and just the serene pose, it just works all together.
Stepback Sunday
This stepback is so beautiful, and I just adore a knight in shining armor. Its always the best to see, just gives off the romantic vibes of chivalry and a time where honor was everything.
I hope the antibiotics kick in for you soon and you get some relief. It’s good to hear your spirit is being well fed though.
I hope your health will improve soon! And have fun with Boyfriend Material! I loved it!
OH! I’m sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I hope that you get it under control soon and the infection heals. Also, I hope you and your doctor figure out what’s going on with your blood pressure! gentle hugs
What a shame that you are still battling the oral infection on top of the high blood pressure and struggle to read. Glad your church conference is uplifting. Nice haul and I look forward to your thoughts on them.
I get a tad swoony over the knight in shining armor stuff, too.
Wishing you well this week, Renee.
I’m so sorry you’re in pain. I sure hope that the antibiotics help soon.
I am sorry that you have not been feeling well. I hope that the antibiotics do their job quickly and that your blood pressure gets under control. I hope that this week is much better for you.
You poor girl! What a week. I’m so sorry to hear about the oral infection. That sounds miserable. I hope the neds kick in and you’re feeling much better this week. I adored Boyfriend Material (one of my faves last year) and Without You was a good one, though quite angsty (I listened to that one on audio).
Sorry to hear you’re battling with health issues! Being in pain make it hard to do anything! Hope you feel better, Renee!
So sorry to hear you’re not feeling well these days, my friend. (((HUGS))) At least you’re keeping your spirits up and hopefully the meds will kick in soon. Besides, you have to get better with all the wonderful books coming out this Fall!! grins
