I’ve been harboring a dark secret for two long years. I’ve been fantasizing about my fiancé’s father, thinking filthy thoughts that a good daughter-in-law should not be indulging in. So when I catch my fiancé cheating on me, there’s only one revenge that will fulfill all my needs.
I’m going to seduce his father. It’s dirty and it’s wrong, and I don’t care. I want him, so I mean to have him.
After this weekend, my ex won’t be the only one who calls his father Daddy.

This review may contain spoilers, so fair warning, upon reading the review.

Your Dad Will Do is such an interesting story, and one I wasn’t sure how I would feel about. Ocassionally I like to delve into the taboo topics, and this author is just brave enough to cover them. I will say that this is a story you need to be aware of that this doesn’t have a ton in emotional focus on the relationship. The focus is obviously of a physical/sexual coverage but man Katee Robert definitely knows how to write a very hot “fogs up the windows” type of story. I think I just wasn’t in the mood for this type of story, I was wanting more from this couple, as in I felt like it was way too much sexual focus on the pages. Now I read erotic romance and I just needed some more “heart” in the story than what I received. Now I will read more of the series, and I definitely will continue this author because I adore her, this just wasn’t my favorite installment she has written.

About Katee Robert

Katee Robert learned to tell stories at her grandpa’s knee. Her favorites then were the rather epic adventures of The Three Bears, but at age twelve she discovered romance novels and never looked back.

Though she dabbled in writing, life got in the way—as it often does—and she spent a few years traveling, living in both Philadelphia and Germany. In between traveling and raising her two wee ones, she had the crazy idea that she’d like to write a book and try to get published.

Her first novel was an epic fantasy that, God willing, will never see the light of day. From there, she dabbled in YA and horror, before finally finding speculative romance. Because, really, who wouldn’t want to write entire books about the smoking-hot relationships between two people?

She now spends her time—when not lost in Far Reach worlds—playing imaginary games with her wee ones, writing, ogling men, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

So sorry it didn’t live up to your expectations. I too would have wanted more of an emotional connection.

This definitely sounds like a story that you need to be in the mood for. Good for when you want just the steam without much plot/feeling.
