Recommend It: Sci Fi Romance

Recommend It is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I have actually received such great feedback for this weekly post, so I will be doing this weekly. I am so excited as I always have such great recommendations as I read all over the genre and my hope is that I can share recs that are for all the sub-genres if I can! The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope, or character type. If you have a trope or theme or character type you want me to put at the top of my list, I have a form that I have created that will just automatically upload into my spreadsheet and I will put it at the top of my list! I feel like as book bloggers, reviewers, readers, we all have great lists to share and this is what I hope I can do for any who want to expand their horizons in the romance genre.

So today I am going to share some Sci Fi Romance recommendations. These will be some of my favorite romances I have read that are in the sub genre of Sci Fi.

Warrior’s Woman is a OG sci fi romance. This is where we have a ship’s pilot who crash lands on a barbarian warrior culture planet and they tangle in the most delicious way. Conqueror is part of a four book series that is SUPERB. I couldn’t get enough of this series, it was so much fun. Probably my favorite series for this sub genre that this author has written. Jessie Mihalik being trad published, I am sure many of you have seen her books around. Aurora Blazing is part of my favorite series from her so far. Claimed by the Warlord is such a fantastic read. Its a mix of feuding worlds and enemies to lovers with a blend of forbidden love. Claimed is part of a series that has a marriage of convenience vibe to it. These are probably closer to erotic romance, so keep that in mind but I have had a fun time with them so far. The Krinar Chronicles by Anna Zaires is so wonderful in every way. Its basically a dark romance mixed with sci fi romance aspects. Its a trilogy featuring the same couple.

Grim is a book I found randomly on Goodreads and it was amazing! Lots of alpha goodness and a royal type of romance. The Shielder series is by far my FAVORITE sci fi romance series. If you love adventure, defeating a great evil and a sweeping romance, you need to pick these books up. Gabriel’s Ghost has a very almost Star Wars like feel to it. An author I need to read more from. Justine Davis is an author that if you love anything sci fi, you need to read. It has some strong family dynamics and a swoony romance. Susan Grant has a backload of sci fi romance. Unearthed is a kidnapping premise with a blend of ancient artifact hunting.

If you would like to give me your requests for what type of recs you would like in a recommend-it post, I have a link HERE so that I can put them at the top of the line!

So what do you think of my recommendations for Sci Fi Romance?? What are some of your favorites that I need to add to my TBR? Let me know in the comments below!

I added Grim to my wish list on amazon, it sounds like something I would enjoy. I don’t read much Sci-Fi romance so this was a great post for me to get some recs!

The only real sci-fi books I have read lean space opera or are time travel books.

I still need to read Grim and Shielder. Love the Linnea Sinclair and Jessie Mihalik series.

I am so not a sci-fi romance reader, but I have had some fun reading the Ice Planet Barbarians series. That’s about it for me.

I haven’t read any of these authors except for Jessie Mihalik. I do enjoy Ruby Dixon’s Ice Planet Barbarians, though.
