Recommend It: Bear Shifters

This is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I have actually received such great feedback for this weekly post, so I will be doing this weekly. I am so excited as I always have such great recommendations as I read all over the genre and my hope is that I can share recs that are for all the sub genres if I can! The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope or character type. If you have a trope or theme or character type you want me to put at the top of my list, I have a form that I have created that will just automatically upload into my spreadsheet and I will put it at the top of my list! I feel like as book bloggers, reviewers, readers, we all have great lists to share and this is what I hope I can do for any that want to expand their horizons in the romance genre.

So today the topic/theme/character type I am focusing on is: Bear Shape Shifters . This is where one of the main protagonists shape shifts into the form of a bear. Normally you will have something more light hearted or playful even. They are very much into touching and snuggling and super affectionate but also bears are super tough to take down so you are mated to one, chances are it would take a lot to take him down.

There was something so precious about this bear clan! Nalini Singh really upped her game with this. And they are my favorite changelings out of the whole world that this author has created. If you want the elite of elite of bear shape shifter romances, you definitely need to grab up Silver Silence. And when our bear hero gets it under his claw to win his lady over, well no one is more determined than a bear clan alpha.

There is something so charming about Jessica Sims. For those that don’t know this is a pen name for Jessica Clare. And this series is delightful. In this one we have a PNR dating agency and a super fun dynamic between a bear shifter hero and a werewolf heroine. If you like Molly Harper’s Mystic Bayou series, then I recommend this one.

Who doesn’t love a protective hero and a bodyguard set up? Its short, sexy and sweet! Its a novella, so if you are new to this author, its a perfect intro to the series. And he is such a badass bear!! haha

Kerrelyn Sparks will really extend herself in the PNR genre and what she did with “Wild About You” was delightful. And I LOVE that her books have stepbacks. But in this one, we have setup

This is such a fun shifter read! Vonnie Davis really knows how to balance human and relaxing shifter romance with minimum relationship angst.

Molly Harper is queen for PNR rom coms for me. And what she has been able to do with this series is spectacular and not only is this a great bear shifter romance, its also my favorite of the series. The hero is delectable!!!

This was a hot and short read but had some fun family dynamics. So if you are enter something more spicy, I highly recommend this one to you all.
