This is a new feature I want to try to do on a more consistent basis, I have actually received such great feedback for this weekly post, so I will be doing this weekly. I am so excited as I always have such great recommendations as I read all over the genre and my hope is that I can share recs that are for all the sub genres if I can! The “Recommend It” feature, is where I will recommend romances based on a certain theme, trope or character type. If you have a trope or theme or character type you want me to put at the top of my list, I have a form that I have created that will just automatically upload into my spreadsheet and I will put it at the top of my list! I feel like as book bloggers, reviewers, readers, we all have great lists to share and this is what I hope I can do for any that want to expand their horizons in the romance genre.
This is such a fun book! Its not super long. If you love audiobooks, your library will probably have it! Its basically the hero is a director and the heroine is a stuntwoman. This also has a accidental pregnancy and protect first type of theme to it. Its super fast paced and just so easy to love
Samantha Young wrote such a powerful book here, and I will always be recommending these books. But I loved having the hero being a actor and seeing him have a place to bring the most elite in hollywood. Its really so interesting! And if you love enemies to lovers, you definitely need to check it out.
This is such a great historical romance. If you like reading this sub genre, then you definitely need to pick this one up here. In this one we have a Shakespearean theme to the story. The heroine is a actress and a pining hero and a beautiful grovel and it has a touch of forbidden love to the story. Just really beautiful!
This is such an adorable book! It has the most darling meet cute on the beach between a photograph and a actor trying to find some peace and they clash. Its sexy and funny and great family dynamics.
This is such a great new adult romance and Cora Carmack is such a powerful author! I loved seeing this couple’s journey together here.
This is such a fabulous series and I LOVED this book and if I remember correctly its my favorite of the series! Its black love, great family times, and such a endearing sexy read! The heroine is such a great match for our hero.
Heaven Texas is such a super charming read! It had me laughing all over the place and is so whimsical in some ways. This author is the classic rom com author. The hero is a ex athlete and working towards his first motion picture! These two are complete opposites and is so endearing seeing them find their way together!
This has a great touch of forbidden love in some ways, as the heroine is a actress and the hero is a member of the Ton. It delivers on all the laughs and is so entertaining. Its guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
The setting of the series, is a small town on the California coast that caters to Hollywood stars, and the Burning Cove Hotel caters to the elites of film and moguls. Its super atmospheric and a fabulous romantic mystery set in the 1920’s
This is so amazing and one of my favorite books from this author! It also portrays such a healthy relationship! The hero is an alpha male, but a healthy one and we need more heroes like this one! Loved the heroine having a celebrity crush on him and working through that to see the real man.
This is a sexy intense romance that will definitely pull you so quickly into the story. I love seeing the way that these two work together. A spy with an actress, definitely delivers some unique dynamics.
The heroine is such a wonderful character, I just love seeing an anti heroine being so well written. Its definitely a story that will charm your socks off!
If you would like to give me your requests for what type of recs you would like in a recommend it post, I have a link HERE so that I can put them at the top of the line!
Ooh, I read two of these (DEP and Carmack). I feel like I read lots of books with actors. I am reading In Love with Lewis Prescott right now, and Lewis is an actor.
I’m loving these lists! I’ve read quite a few of these and have made notes for the ones I’d like to try 😘
I would have said that I haven’t read a lot of books featuring actors or playwrights but I am probably just forgetting since I know that I have read Earls Just Want to Have Fun from this list.
I read and enjoyed The Girl Who Knew Too Much and Losing It. Fun category for recommends!
Love seeing Losing It on your list! I’ve read a ton of books about actors and do you think I can think of any to add to your list right now? Nope. None! Thanks for sharing some of your favorites.
