So today I want to share what is on my Autumn TBR for the season up until November. There are some great books that I have planned and thought I would share some of the reads that I have planned to read. These are very fall themed. So either PNR, Spooky or Gothic, Dark Romance or Football Romances. I am very excited for my Fall reading. I have some fun books lined up. Feel free to recommend any spooky romances that you feel I would love to try out this season.
My First/Favorite Reads Pt 1-Historical Romance
This has been a Instagram trend of late and I thought it would make a fun. This is where you take the first book you read from a genre or author or theme and then showcase you favorite book in that same category. So if you like the idea, feel free to join in and maybe...
I’m excited for Caught Up. I loved Second Down Darling. Sweet Home is my least favorite in that series, but worth reading.
I hope you enjoy them!
I read Sweet Home a while back, other than that, these are all new to me. Hope they are all great for you
I’ve read and enjoyed the Bec McMaster and Tillie Cole on your list. I spy a few I didn’t know about that sound pretty good. I think Simone St. James books are a good bet for Spooky Season and plan to read one myself this fall.
I feel like if a romance has top-notch characters, a great storyline, and has me smiling from start to finish, it means it’s a book that can be read all year round! Second Down Darling has piqued my interest so I will be adding that to the fall/winter TBR pile thank you! My favorite read as of late is “Pretend with Me” (Book #1 in the Beacon Hill series) by Emily Mayer – here is the author’s website in case you want to check it out – https://emilymayerbooks.com/
I loved this book because it kept me laughing and it kept me hooked. The main character, Sutton, is so likable and I found myself rooting for her (and relating to her) throughout. She is forced to head back to her hometown to take care of her dad who is housebound for the time being. To her surprise, her sister is marrying one of the St. James boys (picture the Kennedys) and soon, his brother Holden, seems to be invading her thoughts. This is a slow burn romance with so much going for it. I CANNOT wait for the next book in the series. If you don’t add this to your fall reads, make sure you check it out this winter! You won’t regret it. Thanks as always for a great site and great recommendations.
