Elite Romance: One True Pairing

by | Dec 9, 2023 | End of Year Survey | 7 comments

Welcome to the first post of the Elite Romance series of 2023.  This series of posts is where I am going to list my TOP books of the year, which wasn’t easy to narrow down. I have had a stellar reading year and I am thrilled to be able to share all the delicious reads that I have here. These reads will be taken from December 2022 to November 2023. I feel like this is the best way to feature those books so that the books in December don’t get overlooked. And once it hits January, my focus will be the new year which is why I like to do it in December when I tend to do more reflecting on the past year.

So for today’s topic, this is ONE TRUE PAIRINGS! This can be different for different readers. To me, this is the epic type of love feeling. Super intense, most times longer term or it has a “riding off into the sunset” type of vibe of a HEA. These lists might be longer than what I have done in the past years, because I have 500 books to reflect on! So hope you enjoy the plentiful books I was able to share!

The Fausti’s are epic. I have really loved exploring their story this year. This series is surrounding one couple and their powerful journey together. If you want a unique take on mafia that starts out contemporary, then this needs to be for you.

This is part of the Ravage MC series but this couple gets three books and it’s definitely wonderful to see this couple and what they go through and all the shocks and delights in this one here. and I really enjoyed the mystery and reveals that connect the club to them

This is a duo series that features this couple and they are involved in NASCAR racing and it was pretty awesome. I loved their story. So if you love racing romance, you definitely should add this author to your list. It has some forbidden elements, age gap and so much heart.

#WESMIE 4 ever! This couple melted my heart and three books just wasn’t enough. I know I know I am so selfish, but I need more of these. There is something magical when these two authors get together. This book and books with this couple was worthy of the hype and their story melted my heart.

This will be a spoiler for the series…..

So Mateo and Mia–Man this couple tore my emotions and boundaries in ways I never expected but that is typical with Sam Mariano. But somehow I still loved their journey even if it was bonkers at times.

Ryan and Indy will always be my die hard couple for years to come. Their character and relationship development was unreal and love how she writes interracial romance. Its so well done and *chef’s kiss* perfection. If you love sports romance and forced proximity, this needs to be on your list and I promise this couple will win your heart!

Have you ever read a book that you didn’t expect to blow you away but it does? and the ending was the epitome of the perfect romance ending? That was this book. This was utterly delicious. I had so much fun with it. And how the therapy is handled and this protective alphamellow hero melted my heart. Love how green flags her heroes are.

Dylan and Evyln were everything. How they met as teenagers, and seeing the growth in their relationship was delightful. And the elements of gardening in this one. The connection to nature was beautiful and I loved the setting in Ireland.

A family feud that was so delightful. Meghan March always delivers and these books were purely magical, not sure why I waited so long but definitely worth the wait to read this couple. I just couldn’t get enough. There was such beautiful complexity written in this trilogy and the author really got creative in such wonderful ways.

What a powerful romance this one was! And also reading Travis along the way, only added depth to their relationship. Archer and Bree was such a great way to kick off the year. The setting was so gilmore girls, loved the conflicts and how this pair overcome them as a couple.

Amy and Liam were so great together and there is a film adaptation for this one which is great too. Their story was so different from what I was expecting, but Lisa Renee Jones always delivers powerful stories and she definitely did with this one. Kept me on edge all the way through.

This UF series was so delightful and what this author does to our couple….was brilliant. I loved everything about this world of human and fae and finding the justified HEA that they deserved! If you love UF romance, then this series needs to get placed on your list.

If I had to pick just one from the 4 I’ve read on your list, it would be Wes and Jamie. Years later, and they are still fresh in my mind.
