Christmas Movie Favorites

So as we are in the last week coming up to Christmas, I figured it would be best to share all my top favorite Christmas movies to watch. These are the movies I watch EVERY single winter season and I just love them all. Some are popular and others are ones you might not have heard of, but they are classics for me personally and many have subscriptions or ways to watch for free. So I highly recommend them to you all! I just know you will love them as I do.

This is the BEST Christmas Carol version hands down and I will fight this to my death haha This was originally done as a hallmark movie when I was a kid, and it was so well loved, you can get this on DVD or get it on Amazon. Patrick Stewart just makes this come alive and he makes the best scrooge. If you haven’t watched this version you need it in your life. And I promise its not cheesy like other Hallmark movies. Its super well done.

I watch both the animated and the newer version with Jim Carrey and I LOVE both so much! These are just fabulous classics that are a must every Christmas.

This is such a delightful movie, I adore it so so much! We watch this us girls (my mom and sisters every Christmas eve) I have the link to the youtube below so you can watch it for free.

This movie is about a young woman who creates a Christmas List and drops it into Santa’s box and she starts getting her list and gets unexpected surprises along the way including finding love where she least expected it.

The 1st and 2nd Home Alone’s are a MUST to watch this time of year. I absolutely adore it so so much! I just loved what these do and they are the best. Although New York is my favorite of the 2. I just adore the laughter and shenanigans but it makes me cry every time. I know this is available on Disney plus but I am sure other subscriptions have it as well.

This movie is stellar amazing. And if you love small town romances, you need to watch this one. I know its free to watch on Tubi. Its so charming and sweet. I can’t recommend it enough plus it has my favorite singer in it and he is a good actor. Its the set up of a single father, goes to a small town to do a survey job for his work, and falls in love and finds some miracles to bless the town.

I mean nothing is better than indulging in a Tim Allen Christmas movie and he does these so well. I just love all three, although 2 is my favorite for the romance haha

This is such a classic to watch every year and I just love this movie so so much. Its such a win and we watch this every Christmas eve while we prep Christmas Dinner.

If you want a more spiritual movie to watch, then I can’t recommend this one enough. It has Jimmy Stewart in it and is so endearing and heartfelt. This is a feature my church created quite some time ago and love it so dearly. And only 20 minutes and free on YouTube.

This is such a beautiful movie! I can’t tell you how much I love this one here. It’s basically a Christmas musical and is so charming! It has a romance and loved seeing Mrs. Claus make her mark on the world. You can watch it free on YouTube as well

The Polar Express is a favorite of mine because my daughter made me watch it from December to July over and over again when she was 2. I also love Elf.

I remember How the Grinch Stole Christmas from my childhood. I liked it but always preferred Frosty the Snowman. 🙂 Home Alone is always fun.

So many good movies in your list! I LOVE It’s a Wonderful Life but couldn’t bear to watch it this year.

I’m glad you love Jim Carrey’s Grinch as well. I think there’s room for both. But Carrey’s version really seems to divide people!

I hope you got to watch all of your favorites and had a wonderful Christmas!
