Hello everyone. I know lately its been very slow with this blog. I want to express that this is not the reason why I have decided not to continue with blogging. And this might be a temporary closure. My hosting went up to almost $100 a month and I just can’t get it lower and that is way too expensive for a blog. If anyone knows of good hosting besides Bluehost and an easy transfer process, please reach out otherwise, I am not sure how I will be able to keep the blog any longer.
Now I want to communicate that this doesn’t mean I am going to stop reading or being involved in the community. This means I have more time to be more active on Goodreads and Instagram. If you aren’t following me on there….please follow me.
I will be honest in that this decision is very heartbreaking because I love blogging and its been such a passion of mine. And many of you have been with me since the beginning which has been 14 years! Although this means I would just switch to Instagram fully. And transform my Instagram account into as close to my blog as possible. I will have to link to all the accounts I will keep active on so if you aren’t following me on there, please do and I will be very active.
Now for those worries about reviews or the book recommendation database, no worries. I am working on making sure all of my reviews have been transferred to Goodreads before this goes down. I will also be making sure all my recommendations are on my goodreads shelves. I will try to comment when I can on your blogs, so I won’t be going anywhere. I promise! I just don’t have many options here.
I truly wish I knew of a better and more cost-effective service. I don’t want to see you go, especially so soon after Deanna stepping away. At least I’ll see you still online and I hope whichever path you take is blessed! 💜
Yes! You will still see me around for sure! Its really hard because I just love running a blog and have invested so much into it over the years.

YAY!!! Yeah this is kinda out of my control because that is just too expensive when my hosting was only like $10. But I am still going to be very active and will still visit you!!!! I have loved interacting with you as well.

Yeah it is. But I don’t want to go back to a free site either as they never have a design that would work with what I would need for it. I will still be active on Instagram and Goodreads though and still will visit you plenty. No worries! Just for right now I am at limited options.
I know this was an emotionally tough decision for you, but what are you going to do when costs go up so much, right? See you around at the other booklover sights and look forward to your posts there.
Oh yes Sophia, I know out of anyone, you would understand as you have been with me on this journey since the beginning. I definitely will be around on other sites! I will miss blogging so much though. Its been such a part of my life. But definitely follow me on Instagram if you aren’t already. I will be most active on there as that will be my replacement blog of sorts haha

I can’t believe they upped the price that much! What a bummer! I’ll continue to use Blogger for free. It works just fine for me even though it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles other hosting sites have, I don’t care because this is a hobby. I’ll look for you on Instagram and Goodreads, Renee.
