Books I Want To Read Before the End of 2022

So today I want to do something fun to kick off the week here, and as we get closer to the end of the year….can you believe we only have 2 1/2 month’s left of the year? I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by, I swear it feels like we were just entering summer haha And now we are all getting ready for Halloween. But normally this time of year I like to do look back at my goals that I had at the beginning of the year, and specifically the books that I had planned on getting to and if I have read what I wanted to and what books I want to read. Now I will say that my focus this year has just been finishing up series that I just haven’t finished yet. So the amount of “new to me” authors haven’t been that much, as I look at my charts on my spreadsheets and its about 16.9% and the rest of it is books that I have those authors. I guess too I have become more picky on what I will pick up. One of my major goals for the year is to have more 4 and 5 star reads and its been working so great. So below I am going to share the books that I have in the plans to read before the end of the year. I will say that I have been pretty good about getting to most of the books I had on my TBR for the year.

This has been on my TBR for the longest time, but I even bought the physical book to try to encourage myself to read it. Its one of those books that is so HYPED and I am so scared I won’t like it haha but I have it on the plan to read before the end of the year.

I tried this book a couple of years ago but I think I just wasn’t quite in the best mood for it at the time. So I want to get back to this as I have been wanting to read steampunk romance a bit more.

This is an author I have been wanting to work through her backlist and her writing is always engaging, so I would like to try this one here.

This is on my TBR that I did at the beginning of the year of book releases that I wanted to get to, and I haven’t read it yet, but I am going to up this on my list so I can make my goal haha

I have read the first two books, so I plan on finishig up the trilogy before the end of December. But I also know its emotional so I want to be in the right “mood” for it when I go into it.

I have been wanting to read more of this author and I hear this is one of her best books and I love how it has a “jazz” tone to the cover.

This has been on my TBR for quite a while and I wanted to read this author this year, so this is the one that I chose as this is the book that I see the most good things about.

This is a MM retelling of Hook and I have heard great things about this one and its on my tbr to read this year.

And then to finish off, I want to finish off the year with a Carolyn Brown. I love how atmospheric her books are and her Christmas books are so so fun.

So have you read any of these books on my TBR for the end of the year? Have you read any of them? What books are you wanting to get to before the end of December? Let me know in the comments below!

So I know it’s mid-October, but when I see you say “only 2.5 months before the end of the year” it’s sounds so much shorter! LOL I love making lists like this… picking and choosing the books I want to read above others. I love seeing Archer’s Voice on your list. It’s an all-time favorite.

That Cleeton series was so good! You need to finish it off. I have been saying I would read Archer’s Voice for years. I am the worst! Maybe this is the year we both read it.

I loved the Wild Aces series, but also realize she found her sweet writing spot with her Cuba books. So many awesome reads on your end of 2022 list!

I’ve read a few of those and loved them. LOL, I have a goal each year of finishing off books that have long been on my TBR or from a series.

I love the Iron Duke – the whole series is so amazing. I think two of the books are on my favorites list (it’s been a while since I’ve checked). I’ve not re-read the series, but I should make the time. I’m currently trying to listen to the Heartstriker series (UF) which as been on my TBR for a few years.

I have not read any of these! I do want to read Cleeton’s Wild Aces series though. Enjoy!
