Elite Romance 2023: Hidden Gems

this book really surprised me in how much I really loved this one. I am very picky about rom coms but this book was delightful in every way.

I am such a fan of Linda Kage but this book is one of my favorites from her.. It was so much better than I went in expecting it to be. If you love retellings and want more red riding hood, this needs to be on the top of your list.

I absolutely adored this book. It definitely had Johanna Lindsey vibes at times and the hero spanks the heroine in a she is a brat and almost destroys his home type of way lol Love the opposites and their magical abilities was pretty neat.

This is such a classic contemporary that I found beyond endearing. Definitely one of the better Romanceopoly choices that I was able to do.

What a great book this turned out to be and it was way different than I was expecting. Love what Bowen delivered though for this one.

What a powerful read. If you are wanting more diversity, I highly recommend this one. The heroine deals with Cerebal Palsy. Its friends to lovers and its absolutely perfection. One of my top reads of the year I wasn’t expecting to be a top read lol And this author is one of the best NA authors I have ever read that doesn’t get the love she deserves.

What a fabulous story this turned out to be. I had such a blast with this Anna Hackett. And this series has really surprised me in how much fun it actually is. If you want something different in your sci fi….highly recommend these galactic gladiators.

This was a book I didn’t expect to love as much as I did. The plot kept me on my toes and delivered some fun surprises along the way. I honestly couldn’t get enough.

Jennifer Hartmann really delivered on this one. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but this book was one of the most endearing and emotional dark romances I have ever read.

Jay Crownover is a true delight and I am not sure why I am always surprised how good her books are but this one just delivered on all fronts and I love the edgy contemporary feel she writes in her books.

This one was so much better than my expectations. It had great connection ties to the Phantom of the Opera which is one of my favorite musicals. And loved how it blended well with a mafia romance.

These assassins are absolutely delightful. Every book was so wonderful and better than you expect going into them. They are addictive, fabulous banter and great plots. Its super well balanced and if you are looking for a lighter feeling dark romance, definitely recommend this series.

So much better than I ever thought this book would be. It was everything and more. One of my favorite books from this author. It was cozy, sexy and endearing. A protective bad boy alpha male, likeable sweet heroine and a beautiful setting that is just right for this time of year.

This book was way better than I thought it would be. I am not really a fan of reverse harem because the one’s I have read its just about the sex and focus on the heroine instead of exploring a poly relationship between all individuals. But this one is the closest I have read to delivering what I have been looking for. This was so fun to read with powerful emotion.

This was so much better than I was expecting it to be. One of the better books by this author. I just loved the heroine, she was so likeable and loved her journey here and that she wasn’t the average mafia heroine you normally see. And the romance was so different than I expected it to be, their relationship was so sweet.
