Asher MacGregor has returned from years wandering the Canadian wilderness to assume an earldom he’s avoided, and to seek a bride he does not want. He’s saddled with an additional family obligation in the form of Boston heiress Hannah Cooper, whom he is to escort about the London ballrooms so she might find an English husband.
Hannah is no more interested in settling in Britain than Asher is in returning to the New World, and yet their sympathy for one another soon turns to passion. With Hannah anxious to return to the family she’s trying to protect in Boston, and Asher bound to his earldom in the Highlands, they must trust in love to span an ocean of differences and difficulties.

The MacGregor’s Lady is the third in this series, and a fascinating addition to the MacGregor Clan. I really have loved the set up of this series, and having read most of the books in the series, except for the novella, I have come to love each sibling in the MacGregor family. So I was really excited for Asher’s story. I found this story to be a sweet and sexy romance. It had many redeeming qualities, and I loved the interaction between Asher and Hannah. They were so good for each other. I really liked the realistic feel to the story and there is quite a bit of conflict that keeps the reader more satisfied by the very end. The only problem I had with this book was how I had a hard time getting fully involved in the story. Which sometimes tends to happen to me with this author. Grace Burrowes has a talent for a ability to create memorable love stories, but some of her books I have the hardest time getting fully immersed into it. I still had a enjoyable time reading this one, and there were moments I was in the story but fell right back out. So if it had been a bit more engaging for the reader, than it would have made for a superb read!! I still plan on reading more from this author, since I do always enjoy her style of storytelling. Overall The MacGregor’s Lady is full of sexy characters, endearing scenes….a fun romp of a romance!!
