Happenings of Week 11 of 2022
This past week or two has been super crazy. In both the bookish world and the real world events, I have a feeling life is just going to get even more challenging, but we shall see how events play out in the end. However, I have been trying to not let it affect me too much and realizing this isn’t the first time a world power has invaded a country or harmed innocents for their own gains. But my blood pressure has been pretty bad, much of it is due to not being on meds for over two months, and the anxiety of everything happening just compounded, I am hoping I will be back to normal in a week or so. I am going to focus on trying to get fully back into reading, If anyone has suffered from HBP then you know how challenging it can be to focus on anything. So it’s not really a slump, it’s more an inability to focus on a story. Then of course there was this bookish drama with a few authors and now one I am on board with but the other I was not in support of. (if you want to know my FULL thoughts on this, I will be having a discussion post publishing Monday) about this.
Bookish Posts in the Week of March 6 through March 12
There aren’t that many to be honest, as I have really neglected the blog of late, and I so deeply apologize for that!!

I have only caught snippets of the bookish drama on tiktok, so I am def gonna read your post tomorrow! I’m always curious!
Well I’ll be back on Monday as I have no idea about the bookish drama (except maybe JK Rowling having at it again)!
((HUGS)) It’s hard to watch what’s going on, but I hope you can find ways to relax and get your blood pressure to a safe level.
I’m sorry to hear about your blood pressure! I hope you’re able to lower it with meds. It’s important to stay on top of that. The world is stressful right now! Putin is an evil bully! I haven’t seen any bookish drama, but I haven’t been paying attention either. So very busy right now! I’ll have to pop back and see what all the ruckus is about. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Renee! 🙂
I did a long comment and I’m not sure if it’ll show up or not. Darn it. Hope you get your blood pressure back under control. That’s so important! Take care of yourself, Renee! 🙂
This is a very stressful time. I try to stay informed but not overwhelm myself with constant coverage. I hope that your HBP is under control very soon. I totally missed the author drama. That may not be a bad thing. Have a great week!
I don’t think I know about the book drama… I’ve tried staying off social media. I’m sorry to hear about the blood pressure. I hope you can get back on the meds (if that is what is best for you). The world events and news certainly don’t help. hugs
