I am afraid to admit that this year of quotes were EPIC!!! There are so many good ones I just don’t have any clue how I actually was able to narrow down my list to these below. But these are my top picks for the year.
A Date At The Altar by Cathy Maxwell
Children mean nothing to me if I can’t have you. You are the one I choose. I was meant to love you Sarah.
Nuts by Alice Clayton
“I love you—I love you so much! I want you, I want everything. I want small town and home grown. I want this—without the bees preferably, but if the bees come with this life, then I’ll take the fucking bees. I just want to be your Sugar Snap.”
“I’m all in, Farmer Boy.”
Royal Affair by Marquita Valentine
“Why did you want to set me free?”
“Because no one should live their life up in a tower, no matter how royal it is.”
His Cowboy Heart by Jennifer Ryan
Love is too precious to waste, too good to let go, and too wonderful not to enjoy.
Once Perfect by Cecy Robson
“You broke like a piece of glass, right in front of me.” He swallowed hard. “And it fucking ripped me apart. I couldn’t help you, even though I’d promised to keep you safe.”
Bound Together by Christine Feehan
She was genuine. Sweet. Protective. Nurturing. Everything he’d never had and didn’t know he needed or wanted. It was impossible not to love her. He hadn’t known that kind of love existed. Not that fierce, driving need that was so deep, so intense, it shook him every time he looked at her. Every second in her company was sheer paradise.
Million Dollar Cowboy by Lori Wilde
You think I am stubborn?”
“Lockhart, a pack mule in the Grand Canyon threatened with a three hundred pound tourist wanting a ride to the top in August heat isn’t as stubborn as you.”
The King by J.R. Ward
You have given me something … I didn’t even know I needed. It’s the greatest gift I will ever receive–it’s, like, completing me already in places I wasn’t aware were empty. And yet … in spite of all that? I don’t love you one bit more. You are as important to me as you’ve always been.” He curled down and pressed a kiss to the loose shirt she was wearing—it was one of his, actually, and wasn’t that great. “I was wholly bonded to you before this, and will be after this—and forevermore
Shadow Reaper by Christine Feehan
He would always be dominant, scary to enemies and yet gentle with those he loved.
Red Wolf by Jennifer Ashley
I’m not a little cub, you have to placate. I’m not the Lupine just past his transition who wanted sex with you before his craving for you killed him. I mate claimed you, Jaycee, my best friend. Not because I thought it would make you obedient–hell, I’m not that deluded. I did it because I fucking wanted to. I claimed you because of your sassy mouth. Because your hair shines like gold in the sunshine, because as a leopard, you can hang upside down from a tress, for the Goddes’ sake. Because your eyes look like topaz, because you can kick the ass of any Shifter who gets in your way. Because you jumped into the fight club ring to keep me from being trounced by a Lupine who tried to tranq me. Because you’re hot, you drive me fucking crazy, and I don’t want any other asshole Shifter.
The Bedding Proposal by Tracy Anne Warren
We live wild lives until we find the right woman, once we do, we hold fast and never let go
Wolf Hunt by Paige Tyler
First off, I think you get little credit for being friends with Remy in high school. It’s not as if you just met the man two days ago, you know. Even if you had, there’s nothing crazy about falling fast. It simply means fate put you in front of the man you were meant to be with. There’s nothing insane about that. In fact, its magical
Lord Of Lies by Amy Sandas
The entire world exists in you. You are the adventure. The rest is just an added benefit. All I want is the chance to share it with you. All of it.
White Hot by Ilona Andrews
A tall man was striding from the far end of the hallway. He wore the black robe and it flared around him, the wings of a raven about to take flight. He walked like he owned the building and he’d spotted an intruder in his domain. Magic boiled around him, vicious and lethal, so potent I could feel it from 30 yards away. He wasn’t a man, he was an elemental force, a thunderstorm clad in black about to unleash its fury.
Third Sons A Charm by Shana Galen
I don’t want you to come to the library because you are a diversion. I want you to come to the library because you are the only true thing in my life. Don’t you see? It’s everything else that’s a diversion.
Dirty Scoundrel by Jessica Clare
She’s mine. It just fuels my possessiveness. Natalie was born to be mine, I realize. I’m never lettin’ her go. Not now, not ever.
Reaper’s Fire by Joanna Wylde
When you look back at this moment, I want you to remember there was a BEFORE I claimed you and an AFTER. Now it’s after. You got me?
Six Of Hearts by L.S. Cosway
Believe in the unbelievable, because this world we live in is magic.
Warrior Rising by P.C. Cast
Sweet weeping baby Jesus he has a six-pack to beat all six-packs!
“Seminaked men!” Jacky trilled.
“With swords,” Kat purred. “It is a romance novel!”
When The Marquess Met His Match by Laura Lee Guhrke
“I fear that you encourage women simply by looking at them.”
“I shall take that as a compliment.”
She gave him a wry look as she began to put on her gloves. “I must have said it wrong.”
Cuffed By His Charm by Stacey Kennedy
Your heart is so big and warm, and that’s so damn beautiful
So What Are Your Favorite Bookish Quotes Of The Year?
Wonderful choices here! The Lori Wilde quote made me giggle and the Amy Sandas made me sigh. Can’t beat that! And, okay, the Joanna Wylde quote was pretty sexy. 😉 I keep going back to Racer by Katy Evans for quotes and one of my favorites was when Racer was feeling vulnerable about his feelings for Lana…and it’s the moment she realizes how much he *truly* does care for her:
“Let me love you.” He presses his forehead to mine, his rough whisper
making my heart squeeze. “Love me back, baby.” He cups my face in one
hand and asks it reverently, as if he doesn’t deserve to ask but is
still asking.
