This past month has been all over the place and kinda crazy in some ways. I feel like I am starting a new chapter in my life though. I have been at my last job for so long, that doing something so different came with its own set of challenges and delights. I am actually really grateful that I was able to find this job that I found. Even though it’s a call center, it’s not your typical call center, and I hardly deal with customers most of the time which is nice. I love how the company I work for is all about employee benefits and encouraging such good values in their staff. And the environment is much healthier than I am used to. And many opportunities for advancement and moving around various departments. I am still having to get used to the new schedule that is so opposite from what I was working on before so my body is still adjusting. So I am much more tired due to that adjustment. I am feeling blessed that I was able to find this job, despite how overwhelming its been at times, it’s also a great opportunity for me. As far as the blog, nothing new with it all or anything. I am working on cleaning up the site and getting everything transferred over.
It’s been a slower reading month for me, not sure why, just wasn’t able to get to as many books as I would have liked. However, I did read some real treasures especially my top read of the year.

Goodreads Reading Challenge 252/200—I am not sure I will get to 300 before the end of the year, but I should get close to it. Considering how long of a hiatus I had earlier this year, these numbers aren’t terrible at all.
So glad you are enjoying your new job! How’s your health been? I hope you have a wonderful December ahead.
It sounds like you really landed in the right place with your new job. It’s great to work for a company that obviously cares about the well-being of their employees. Glad you’re in such a good spot!
So glad things are improving for you! Hoping it continues into 2022 and you can get back into your reading groove 🙂
Yay for finding a job that makes you excited and feel valued. Hopefully you’ll settle into the swim of things soon. I think your reading numbers are great considering all you had going on this year and yay for a top read of the year this past month.
Have a great December, Renee!
