About The Book
A tale as old as time: she needs a place to stay, he’s a grump with a secret and an extra room…can love find a way?
Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity—and romance—that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after.
Living in her overprotective dad’s basement, shy Belle lives her life through books. Being a part of the Naughty Princess Club is the first adventure she’s ever had, plus she desperately needs the money to save one of her favorite places – the local library.
But when her new friends and new business gets her kicked out of her dad’s house, Belle is rescued by the surly Vincent “Beast” Adams who invites her to be his house guest until she gets back on her feet. Despite his attitude problem and long list of rules, Belle finds herself warming to the muscled man with a penchant for growling and starts seeing a gentle side to him that wasn’t there before.
Yet there’s a room that Beast keeps locked and Belle keeps getting hints that Beast is hiding something…can a nerdy librarian tame the beast or will their romance be over before it has a chance to blossom?
My Review
First Impressions
In Bed With The Beast is the second book in the trilogy and I have to say I think this one will be my favorite of the series,. This book was such a blast and I just couldn’t get enough and easily as an audiobook you would want to listen to this one, in one sitting, that is how good it is. I absolutely adored everything about this book and if you are a fan of Beauty and the Beast retellings, then this one will become a fan favorite for you. I didn’t expect to enjoy this one as much as I did, but wow this author really handled the retelling and the charm and the humor so well and I was utterly gravitated towards this story here. I just couldn’t get enough of Belle and Beast and their fun sassy romance that completely worked for me.
Summary
Belle is a shy reserved heroine who still lives with her father but is eager to spread her wings. She runs the local library who is being threatened to be closed if she doesn’t gain new funding and soon. She is working to build her courage to be part of the stripper venture that she and her two friends have decided to do together. Then we have our hero, who is reclusive and private and broody as all get out. He works with her best friend’s husband but Vincent Adams is much more than meets the eye. When Belle leaves home for good and is living at the library, Vincent gives her a refuge in his home and provides her a roof over her head and plenty of food until she gets back on her feet. He provides a list of rules but Belle soon gets beneath the tough exterior that Beast portrays but there is a secret that he is keeping from her. Will the chemistry between Beast and Belle build into a crescendo of love and connection?
What I Loved
I absolutely adored this story and it was one of those random reads that sparked life and humor when I least expected it. I really adore retellings but as a rom-com this book was perfection! I just loved all the elements that come together to make this story utterly charming in every way. And the way that this book had me laughing all over the place, whew, I can’t remember the last time that I laughed so hard. I really related so well with the heroine here, as any book lover will haha but especially loved the effect of the grumpy sunshine relationship that is built. We also see how powerful their bond becomes. I found the hero to be so sweet at times, when he brings and demands she eat food when he knows she isn’t eating much and how protective when her dates weren’t treating her right and the way he helps her train to be a stripper was so delightful. There is this other side to Vincent that Belle is able to draw out so easily. Another fun aspect is how well this is like the fairy tale and I really enjoyed seeing it all play out until the end. If you love rom coms and this fairy tale…..this is a MUST READ!
What I Struggled With
I don’t think there was much…..not a fan of the friend Ariel though so not super stoked for her story but maybe the author will redeem her for me.
The Narration
CJ Bloom is such a fun narrator to listen to and really brings on an entertaining voice to the story. I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing a better job at reflecting the story so well,. b
Overall View
In Bed With The Beast is a delightful spin on the fairy tale that will engage, delight, and brighten the day of its reader…..a story that delivers in the romance, the wit, and the friendship in such great delights!

This was my favorite of the three, so I am happy to see such a great review. I also listened to the audiobook and thought the narrator really brought a lot of life and fun to the story
I read this one and it was fun. A little silly, but fun. Great review!
I’m glad this one worked out so well for you. Something about it didn’t make it a complete winner for me and I absolutely Tara Sivec’s books 🙂
