Happenings of Week 23 of 2022

This has been a whirlwind of a week, work has been solid but it was slower which is nice as my mouth is still healing so it was good to get caught up on work. Its nice having only one day to go into the office, and to work the rest from home. But my reading has been great this week and I hope you all had a great memorial day weekend. We did a family BBQ, so nothing big or fancy, just nice family time. My reading is still going strong though and I am so happy about that. I was able to pick up some great reads and tried to keep up on commenting as much as I could when I wasn’t caught up in my books haha I have been picking up older historical’s as I have been wanting to get back in the genre and the newer stuff just isn’t doing it for me.

Currently Reading

My current audio is Kiss Hard—I was just browsing and saw this on Hoopla, so I decided to go with this one. I have heard it’s AMAZING and I can already tell it’s going to be a sassy romance. I am currently reading a ebook of “Master Professor” this is also my first Tara Sue Me and I am loving it. I really love well-written BDSM and I am starting to see why so many love her work. I will be doing Darkness Dawns, I feel like I have read this but according to GoodReads I haven’t so its still going to drive me crazy but need more PNR in my reading. Then I got Fight For Me from Libby so I am going to pick this one up, its been a while since I picked this author up.

Hope the mouth continues to get better. Nobody needs that sort of discomfort. I love cookouts! We can’t have them where we live, so I depend on my sister to invite us over. I read one of the Hard Play books and it was so good. I hope to continue that series.

The family bbq sounds nice. I haven’t been together with my whole family since Christmas. šŸ™ I loved Fight for Me. Corinne Michaels is one of my favorites.

Yea for healing and family time! My daughter and I had COVID starting the week before the long weekend and into last week. She was able to return to school on Wednesday. Since I work from home, I didn’t miss anything, but I did end up taking most of the day off on the Friday before the long weekend because I was tired and didn’t feel great. My son, who graduates from HS on Friday, had his last day of school and last lacrosse game. Both things ended up being harder on me that I thought. This coming week is going to be so emotional.

Nice that your reading is going strong. The family BBQ sounds wonderful. I think that Darkness Dawns has been waiting its turn on my kindle for at least 10 years. Have a great week!
