Happenings of Week 12 of 2022
Its been an interesting week to say the least. We moved our clocks ahead, and even though I like having more daylight in the evening, I hate switching back and forth. Although it looks like it might be permanent in the states if Congress and the Prez sign on the bill. Which I am all for, I hate going back and forth all the time. So we shall see what happens. My blood pressure is still mostly the same, I was able to see a new doctor this week who doubled my dose. So this weekend I feel slightly better but hopefully, I will be normal soon because I hate this feeling, haha Anyone with HBP knows what it’s like and it’s not fun at all. My reading has suffered so much here. But I did get a new monitor and will be replacing my old one soon. I just needed to revamp up my computer experience and yes my work has spoiled me with two monitors and an adjustable desk. So yes I am looking for a good adjustable desk because they are so nice. I also was able to get my taxes done and watched Marry Me (it was amazing)

I need to get caught up on Nalini Singh’s. Good week.
It’s good to hear you made some progress with your blood pressure. I hate the time change. Is it really more daylight if we pick a timeframe and stick with it? The number of daylight hours actually doesn’t change. It just shifts, and everyone doesn’t wake up and live their days during the same hours. The general premise is sort of silly. My thing is, why does Congress keep shutting down these bills? Ending the time change has been proposed many times. Why do people want to hold on to it? I don’t get it.
Taxes hugh! I hate doing these! I have not an adjustable desk at home but that would be fabulous! Also I hope the new doctor will help finally getting your blood pressure under control!
Glad to hear you’re getting your blood pressure under control. That can be very dangerous when it’s high! Yeah, I don’t like the time changing back and forth either. I can’t wait for Storm Echo! Glad to hear it was wonderful!
I’m glad things are going well.
I loved Don’t Hex and Drive. Such a good series.
I hope that your HBP is completely under control soon. I think that the time change bothers everyone. It makes no sense in our current society. I feel like I have to have 2 monitors anymore. I hope that you have a good week!
I don’t have HBP but my mother does and I know that for awhile she had to try different things to bring her to her new normal. She cut out salt (which was the WORST) and had to drastically change her diet, her exercise routine, basically everything. I really do hope that you’re able to find your new normal soon,
As for reading progress, if this is you slow… gosh, I have so much catching up to do LOL
I hope this next week is as blessed as it should be for you! ?
Gah… was the time change only a week ago? It feels like forever. My husband and daughter struggle to adjust and are still feeling the effects in the mornings when it’s time to wake. I do hope they pass the bill and it stays, I should investigate if my state is one that will make the change.
My week was pretty low key, but I had a busy weekend. I also got in some good reading time on Saturday, which was nice.
The time change has never bothered me much after the first day or so, but not having to change all the clocks in the house and cars would be nice. 🙂 Hopefully you BP will come down and the new monitor will help as well as other health changes I’m sure you’ve had to make. Yay for getting to see Marry Me. Hopefully you’ll get to enjoy more of your books soon.
Have a good week, Renee!
The time change is such a pain. It messes everyone up. It’s nice to think that (maybe) we could see the end of it. Hope the new dose of meds makes a difference and helps get your BP under control!
