Happenings of Week 17 of 2022

This has actually been such a solid week both in real life and in the reading life. I think I have caught the reading bug, and it feels so nice again to be able to read. I have felt better this week than I have since early March. It feels so nice to almost feel so normal again, and I was also able to participate in a buddy read. I was also able to get caught up on my reading challenge as I was behind on it. I didn’t plan on a month of not being able to read much but I am caught up and yeah it feels nice. And it also feels great because I just want to read all the time and I think I finally have my reading jive back again and I am loving this second wind I am experiencing. And I have been able to read some great books. This past week though our WEATHER is crazy. I swear Utah weather never knows what it wants in April. We literally had a day where we had sunshine, then a huge downpour of rain and then a hail storm that some ppl thought it was snow because we got so much of it and then of course the sun came out haha Well at least I have some great books I was able to indulge in and I also got the green light to work from home. I probably won’t do it full time just do half the week at home and the other half at work.

These I have been pretty eager for. I have been distracted from reading the Mary Jo Putney, I will be honest in that. I just have been mood reading of late. And I have been wanting some sci fi so going to grab up some more Anna Hackett, I have been wanting to explore more of her works. I grabbed the Linda Broday as my audio for the week, I was bad and didn’t read the ARC in time, so hopefully I can finish up my weekend with this audio. Then I am planning on finishing up my weekend with a lighter read, I need more Meghan Quinn in my life.

It feels so good to re-find that joy in reading a lot. I had a lot of trouble starting up this year, because I had a lot of 3-star reads and that wasn’t very motivating. After finally getting my first 5- star read I just hit it off! Yay for reading.
    Have a great week 🙂

Yeah for your reading mojo being back. That Forever Girl is my favorite of the series. I am trash for second chance romances. The last book was the most fun though. Solid series. Hope you love it.

It always feels great to really get into a reading groove. The weather is a little nuts in my area too. I never know how to dress in the morning before I leave for work. I hope that you have another great week of reading ahead of you.
