So I decided since I have a fierce love for historical romance, to start it up again. I quite liked this one, not my favorite from this author’s work. But such a unique time era (the period of enlightenment) to write in and love the set up here. I do have a weakness for the “arranged marriage” trope. All the details in this story is beautiful.

I’m reading “published before October 3, 2008” and eying my physical bookshelves with the thought to do a re-read or at least a look through them for the ones that still, to this day, stick out in my mind from the many, many Historical Romances I’ve read over the years. Hmmm… time to do some thinking on older titles. Glad to see this meme being brought back in a Historical Romance edition – good luck with it and I’ll be checking my stash for a great book to add this coming Thursday. 🙂
