So in my personal life, this past week has been so exhausting. I wasn’t able to get that librarian position but I did give my notice because I can’t continue being overworked and stressed so this week I am going hard on finding a job. I have been wanting to leave for a while, but we had even more people quit this past week and I just can’t be working myself like this. I didn’t even get one book physically read this WHOLE week. Let alone have a social life at all. So I know my commenting was lacking this past week, so hopefully, I can find something that will be easier and not so physically draining and maybe something no more than eight hours a day. But despite that, I have been able to get some audiobook listening done. So been able to get some books read that way.

I have been so exhausted and busy this week I still haven’t had time to read this one yet, or I have only read a couple of chapters. But I am really liking it. Its really funny, and the bantering is on point.

Currently Listening

I just started listening to this one, and its so funny. Its one of the few backlogged books I have left on Netgalley ….I am at 98% and SO close to making it to a 100%. And this is an author I have been wanting to try out for quite a while.

It would be so awesome if you could get a remote job and work from home. Here’s a really good link of jobs viable jobs that are available, and the lady who posts these is so awesome. Nothing worse than working at a job that stresses you out. wwww.realwaystoearnmoneyonline.com. She gives a list of data entry jobs, customer service, chats, and companies like Apple who are looking for people to work remotely. She also mentions some side hustles. That Emily March looks pretty good! I’m sending lots of hugs your way, and hope something works out soon. RO

It’s so hard quitting a job, but also so necessary if it’s not healthy for you. Bold move there and good luck! I hope something great comes your way really soon.

I didn’t read any books last week either! By the time I got home in the evenings, I was just too tired. We have teacher shortages here so everyone is stretched super thin. I don’t blame you for walking away from a job that is expecting too much.

Good luck with your job search! That is always tough and stressful but I hope you find something soon that is good for you. It’s hard when people are leaving and you’re overworked…

That last pic I’m wondering if that’s a book cover? I always like seeing the originbal art since a lot of times the cover illustraion gets cropped or whatever in the cover process…

I’m so sorry you didn’t get the library position, Renee. But I can understand quitting anyway with how the old job was making you feel. Good luck on the job search! I hope you find something that is much kinder to you.

Best of luck to you on the job search. fingers crossed <3 It takes such a toll on you mentally & physically being overworked and stressed when a company is understaffed. I run into that a lot in my job (call center overnights supervising & taking calls, doing chat). I’m ready for a change too…
