TREACHERY
. . . Something the powerful Vampire Lord Raphael has seen far too much of lately.

RAGE
. . . An emotion that, left unchecked, can burn like the fires of hell.

REVENGE
. . . A dish that philosophers claim is best served cold.

It’s been months since the powerful French vampire Mathilde used Raphael’s arrogance against him and nearly succeeded in taking his life. His fury has grown stronger with every day since, fed by new bloody incursions onto North American soil by the Europeans, while vampire politicking has forced him to wait. But no longer. Someone has attacked his home, killing vampires, threatening Cyn. They’ve taken it one step too far, and Raphael’s tired of waiting. His enemies are about to discover that revenge can taste damn good when it’s hot, too.

Relentless is the latest novella from this outstanding vampire series by D. B. Reynolds. I just adore this world that this author has created and these novella’s are great because Raphael and Cyn are just a great fighting couple. I love how well they are together, they really are just right for each other. We see the ways that even though our hero, who is alpha male, doesn’t want his mate anywhere near danger, he always understands who she is and accepts her by his side “trying to protect him” and actually loves that about her even though he hates the idea of the risk of losing her. Cyn is very independent and is a fighter, and we see how fiercely protective she is of her “mate” and I love how well we see them grow in their relationship and how much they have grown especially with everything that has happened to them. The world in this book is growing from North America and we it extend toward Europe which is awesome. So I am excited to see where this author takes this series.

Relentless is a fun addition to this series that is full of thrills and excitement, intrigue and danger and some fun sexy times too!!! This is definitely my “cup of tea”.

Sounds like a well written story. I’m not really big on novellas since I tend to want more than the little bit I’m given, but I’m glad that you really enjoyed this one.

Thanks kristen. It is pretty well written for a novella. I have noticed the only novella’s she does here, are about Raph and Cyn and kinda seeing the continuation after they reach their HEA. But novella’s are so tricky, because they are shorter but seeing as we have already been given their main story, it nice to see development to the plot of the series

Oh it is. Normally for novella’s I do shorter type reviews. And I don’t read them too often, so its nice to have a shorter review that is just straight to the point. You would love Cyn as a heroine. She rocks.

I get all swoony when an alpha male feels protective, but won’t stifle his mate and when she feels just as protective back. 🙂

Oh I KNOW!! its the sexiest thing in a hero. And Raphael is one of those alpha males you would want to be with in real life.
