Welcome to the next segment of the Elite Romance series of 2022. This post is where I am going to list my TOP reads of the year, which wasn’t easy to narrow down. I have had a decent reading year and I am thrilled to be able to share all the delicious reads that I have here.
In this segment I will be sharing the steamiest of romances that I read this year and there were quite a few here. This is where these books had the best spice but also were books that I was able to connect with on a deeper level.
Savage Road takes intimacy to a completely new level with this one. Christine Feehan definitely delivered on this one. I never thought I could do a sadist hero, but you know it works! And it was so connecting and intense and just stole my breath and it won’t go the way you expect.
This book was so magnetic and vibrant in so many ways. It does start out with a scene in a sex club, but what really made the sex scenes was the sensuality and emotional connection that flows so well together.
Pam Godwin definitely knows how to write her steam and Lessons in Sin definitely has it, but it won’t be what the reader expects always. It has such a level of intensity at time that is so riveting and will have the reader caught up in the moment.
Aja James wrotes a treasure with this book but I will be honest, when she writes her steam its a POWDER KEG. She definitely raised the bar in this one but what more is the level of intimacy that is so well developed.
Anyone who has read Sierra Simone, knows how well she writes her steam. But in this book and the whole series, its so sensual and edgy and has a gritty sense to it. While also growing the intimate bond between the friends.
These books are something else and honestly I don’t even know how to describe them. The sex club scenes are wild let me tell you, but somehow the connection between the pairing only intensifies. I just love how they lean on each other through it all.
Shayla Black definitely knows how to write her steam and I adored everything about this one here. Its such a fantastic twist of sexuality and self identity. The characters just win you over and the intimacy is built within the sex scenes so I do think its important to pay attention to them.
Tara Sue Me BLEW ME AWAY THIS YEAR! I absolutely adored this book especially with how authentic it felt to the BDSM culture and lifestyle. If you want a realistic BDSM romance, you need to grab this one up.
Sophie Lark hasn’t impressed me too much, but she definitely delivered in this one. And the whole barn scene was perfection and was just what this couple needed. He definitely knows how to work a crop in some creative ways.
This is an author that I think if you want more sensual historical’s, you definitely need to grab up. I just adored their connection, she really leveled up with the steam level but also delivering on the relationship aspects.
This series SHOCKED ME! Because after reading Simple Wild, I expected some good steam but NOTHING to this level and it was BRILLIANT!
Spider and his “queen” were so well written and what was most impressionable was the more intimate scenes. They really click and there is role-playing with romance novels and it’s AWESOME and so entertaining!
I definitely want to read something by Geissinger, having heard so many good things. I’ve read a couple by Godwin and agree that she definitely does steamy well.
I haven’t read any of these, but I also have started skimming the sex scenes, so I don’t seek out the sexy books.
I think that I kept things a little tamer with my reading this year. I did read one book by Sierra Simone though. These all sound really good!
That KA Tucker series was FIRE when it came to smexy times!
