But when he risks all to protect her, Addison’s fear turns to empathy—and empathy to desire as she learns more about her savior. Soon she’s more than willing to help the crushingly sensual white tiger and his cubs in a passionate bid for freedom. Whatever the cost.

My Review Updated

Summary

Kendrick, has been the guardian and the leader for his people. Uncollared shifters, he is driven to keep them safe and free but he has a dangerous enemy. An enemy that was once his close friend who turned enemy on him. But then suddenly their group is discovered, and all of them are forced to flee. Kendrick, is not alone however….he has his twin boys and a young child that he adopted as his own. All three of them he would do anything to protect at all costs. Addison Price, is a waitress for a local diner, where she sees and meets many drifters and loners. Addison lives with her sister and her kids, and works as much as possible. But there is one group of customers she is fascinated by: Kendrick and his three boys. There is chemistry between Addison and Kendrick. But then the diner is attacked, and Kendrick convinces Addison to protect his sons. She agrees, almost being killed by Kendrick’s enemies. Kendrick doesn’t want to put Addison in danger, but he is intrigued by her fighting spirit and her passion as she fights to stand by his side and three precious little boys.

Plot and Story Line

White Tiger the most latest release in the Shifters Unbound series is simply fantastic and I had a ball of fun with this one. It was slightly different, but ever since getting introduced to Kendrick, I have been wanting his story. I loved his cubs (Two white tiger cubs that stole my heart in the first two pages), and his fighting spirit to protect those he is over to protect. We see some great chemistry between Kendrick and Addison with the first few pages you are hooked completely on their story. But what I loved was how intense the story got quite quickly from the start. We see two strangers go pretty quickly to a couple fighting for each other and to live in the way they want to without fear of their enemies finding them. What I loved was seeing the new base of operations for Kendrick and his clan. A all but deserted large ranch except for one charming old man, who is lonely and is intrigued by shifters. He welcomes them with open arms and accepts them as they are. This is a great moment of bonding between Kendrick, Addison and the cubs. Then they get some visitors. Some that are welcome and some that Kendrick is antsy about including our infamous and my favorite shifter  “Tiger”. Tiger is a talented tracker, but he finds them by sensing Addison and the cubs. I loved seeing his character play a vital role in this story, since he is my favorite to see. Then we get some other characters and a small side plot for another romance between two of Kendrick’s uncollared shifters. I really liked that bonus, since they were so cute. Not your normal couple either, definitely opposite but endearing all the same. We have a scary villain, who really adds some threats and suspense to the story that keeps you on edge for a bit.  But what an edge!!! I found the villain played an important role for the story, because we see how strong Kendrick and Addison’s relationship truly is, and what they are willing to do to fight for one another and the people they love. I am eager for what is up next from this author.

The Cover

What a cover!!! I love tigers, and the cool colors that are used, are the perfect touch.

I haven’t read any of the books in this series, but your review definitely makes me curious about it. With the whole white tiger shifter plot line and his two cubs and add in some romance and suspense and it sounds like a great book. And it’s nice you get to see some of the characters from previous books. Great review!

Nice review! I adore this series and anything Jennifer Ashley writes, actually. Now I want to move this up on my TBR list just to read about the cute cubs! 😉
