The forces that bind them can also tear them apart...
Zachary McKenna is a warrior shapeshifter from the Lion Clan, trying to catch a break in the sun and surf of Mexico. Mai Tais and scantily clad beach beauties are just what he needs after his last battle. But the fun doesn't last long before a beautiful young woman is mugged on his doorstep and Zach is pulled right back into the fray.
Zach has no idea of the danger Annabelle has unwittingly brought to his doorstep, until he discovers that losing her will almost certainly destroy him...

Unbound was a thrilling and exciting paranormal romance, and just made me eager to read the rest of the stories. I feel like you can read this story as a stand alone, the focus of the story is around the couple, and there are some connections to some of the other books, but not strongly in any way. I have read the first book of the series, and loved it, and Unbound was a short yet sweet taste of what this series is really made of. After reading this, I just wanted to buy the rest of the books of the series that I have yet to read…hopefully I can get them read soon. I think what I really enjoy was the focus on the relationship and seeing their romance develop, and for being a novella, it was very well established…at least as much as you can be with how short this story was. I also liked seeing more of the Amoveo Legend theme really have a strong presence in this story. The characters were charming and such a delight to read, and I had a blast with this one. Definitely a keeper for your shelves!!!
