A man whose lifestyle is so different from her own…

Nic Dalton’s cupcake bakery is thriving. She serves both rock stars and locals alike, content with her growing business. But one adventurous night out with her best friend, Bailey, turns her life upside down. She meets a handsome stranger who makes her skin sizzle and her heart race. Their one night together is explosive and unexpected, but when he has to suddenly leave without taking her phone number, Nic resigns herself to never seeing him again.

…What will it take to trust and submit to his every desire?

Matt Montgomery is one of Seattle’s finest. He works hard, loves and protects his family fiercely, and is loyal almost to a fault.

And he has a penchant for bondage.

Matt enjoys the way a woman looks wrapped up in his ropes, and makes no apologies for his preferences. When he meets Nic at a fetish festival, the small, beautiful woman catches his eye, drawing him to her. His one night with her was everything he’s ever looked for in a partner, but is cut short because of a family emergency. Even before he sees her again weeks later, he knows he’ll never get her out of his system.

And he’ll do whatever it takes to make her his.

“Give in to this, Nic. Let me prove to you that I will be one of the best decisions you ever make.” –Matt Montgomery

Tied With Me is the sixth installment in this sexy and fun series set in the beautiful city of Seattle. This is Matt’s book, he is one of the older siblings of the clan, and the last to find love and book I have really been scared/yet super excited about his book. In the previous books, its obviously been hinted that he is a bit more selective in his tastes when it comes to sex and has never found a woman that he could have a real relationship with. My heart has ached for him because he has seen his siblings find love and wonders if he will ever be so lucky….aww!!!

So the story begins with a unique encounter between them. Nic Dalton is a baker and owns a cupcake bakery that has been used in previous books and I just love this gal. She is so fun and sweet. She is pretty down to earth and chill. Her closet mostly consists of pajamas and her bakery uniform. She doesn’t wear fancy dresses or goes all out because her bakery is her life. But her best friend, who likes the “kinky play” drags her to this fetish festival and yeah Nic is DEFINITELY out of her element. She is very very “vanilla” sex and didn’t even know why or what many of these things are that she sees. But there is one man that intrigues her, who is a master at rope tying. And he samples his tastes on her in front of people….something she thought she would never do. And after a night of passionate sex and the most sensual night of her life, Matt gets called away on a family emergency and she never thought she would see him again. So life goes back to normal somewhat until they bump into each other at a wedding for Matt’s brother and sister in law and boy the chemistry is off the charts.

Nic is very honest with Matt in how she feels about kinky play and she isn’t sure that she could ever be enough for Matt. She doesn’t want anyone to control her life and she refuses to be a “slave” for anyone, even if he is sexy and sweet like Matt. But Matt convinces her to take a chance on him and so they begin “courting” each other and exploring Matt’s ropes.

Give in to this, Nic. Let me prove to you that I will be one of the best decisions you ever make.

I have to say that I have read only a handful of BDSM themed romances and I was very impressed with “Tied With Me” and this book definitely rocked my world. I just loved everything about this story. I feel like this one was a bit more lighter compared to other BDSM romances out there. Because Matt just prefers his women to be tied up and Nic is definitely okay with that. I really liked how Matt is with Nic because even though they have powerful chemistry, we also see a strong friendship form between them. Matt is such a “Good” man, he is a cop and is very protective but I also love how he encourages Nic to be herself and see the “beauty” beneath the surface.

Whether it’s through blood or pure love, family is family

I don’t ever want to lose you, Nic. You put your arms around me, I’m home. I’m permanently in love with you. Don’t ever forget it.

I truly couldn’t get enough of Matt and Nic’s story, because there were so many sweet heartwarming moments that just makes you smile and *sigh* in pleasure because you don’t want their story to end and seriously I could probably listen to this again because I loved it so much.

About Kristen Proby

Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.

During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.

Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.

Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two pugs and two cats.
