Enter a world of dark, irresistible passions, where a powerful vampire finds the one woman who can satisfy his every hunger....

In Las Vegas, Jason Cage is known as "The Beast Master." But his onstage feats of magic are nothing compared to the abilities he keeps hidden from human eyes. Jason is Prime of his vampire family, and once used his telepathic skills to tame wild werewolves. It's a talent that leads him to beautiful, sensual Sofia Hunyara, who instantly triggers all of Jason's primal urges. Sofia is destined to be his bondmate, but keeping her alive long enough to convince her of that fact will not be easy.

Sofia has no reason to trust Jason, or to believe his story about her family's secret history as Wolf Tamers. The only thing she's sure of is an overwhelming attraction that quickly develops into a scorching affair. If Jason's claims are true, can Sofia embrace her legacy -- when it means walking away from a soul-searing desire that's deeper than any she's ever known?

Have you ever read a book where you are totally and completely lost like going through a maze and there is no end in sight? Bring on Primal Desires.

Primal Desires is a story that I REALLY should have waited on because I totally believe this series needs to be read in order. Now I am one of those readers that can catch on pretty quickly, especially when I enter the series in the middle or even in the later part of the books. However upon reading Primal Desires I was completely lost and I really had no clue what was actually going on. Even after finishing the book, I was a bit baffled and realized I should have grabbed the previous books in the series. So as I look back on the story I actually read I realize now how lost I was and now I wish I could share what actually happens in the book but I might just confuse myself so I am just going to share what I liked and disliked about the story.

So what was I drawn to that kept me reading Primal Desires? I just couldn’t help but fall for the actual romance. I will say the love connection between Jason and Sofia was really intriguing. Of course we deal with the whole “fated mate” trope, so if you don’t like that….don’t read this book or the series. Because it deals with vampires and werewolves and other doggy creatures I totally didn’t really understand or get. Back to the good romantic stuff….the connection between them is pretty instantaneous. However it takes some work. Sofia doesn’t understand what is going on or why Jason would want her in the ways that he does. Jason does have the patience of a saint because it takes a while for Sofia to really believe what Jason is telling her and showing her. She tends to be a bit naive and avoids confrontation and we see her go through this self discovery journey and it’s not all painless.

I also felt there was a ton of dynamics in culture and world building that really confused me the most. Because obviously I entered the series in the worst way because there is a lot of elements going on that I still am not sure I understand. But I want to know more about this world that Sizemore has created for us here. And with this series that contains eleven books, I definitely have my work cut out for me to getting caught up and getting more depth into this fabulous world of vampires and werewolves and heads on engaging characters that are immediately likeable and as a reader you become so easily attached to them.

It sounds similar to The Others series. It took sometime for me to understand the whole characters and their cultures but I ended up enjoying it. I’m planning to finish the rest soon. Anyway, this sounds great but yeah I got it why it didn’t really work for you. Awesome review as always, my friend. ?❤️
