Orpheus--To most he's an enigma, a devil-may-care rogue who does whatever he pleases whenever he wants. Now this loose cannon is part of the Eternal Guardians--elite warriors assigned to protect the human realm--whether he likes it or not.
Orpheus has just one goal: to rescue his brother from the Underworld. He's not expecting a woman to get in the way. Especially not a Siren as gorgeous as Skyla. He has no idea she's an assassin sent by Zeus to seduce, entrap, and ultimately destroy him.
Yet Skyla herself might have the most to lose. There's a reason Orpheus feels so familiar to her, a reason her body seems to crave him. Perhaps he's not the man everyone thinks... The truth could reveal a deadly secret as old as the Eternal Guardians themselves.

Enraptured is the fourth book in the Eternal Guardians, and I was able to get a copy of it in audio format, and what a wild ride of adventure and romance this one turned out to be. Ever since I started reading this series, I fell mad for it. I have a certain weakness to mythology, and you mix it in with some romance…you have quite a gem. Enraptured is a story I have been waiting long to read. Quite frankly ever since the first book, I have feel enraptured by Orpheus myself…he is such a bad boy with a good heart underneath it all…and so I was super excited to start his story and see how he got his HEA.

Enraptured begins with Orpheus, is out to rescue his brother who is trapped in the underworld, due to his mistake. So on his search, he runs into a siren,Skyla. Skyla has been a siren for two thousand years, but there is a reason she has stayed one for so long. She knows secrets about Orpheus, secrets that are hidden from him, and secrets that tie them together in ways that she doesn’t even know. When Zeus sends her on a mission, she doesn’t expect to feel these strong feelings again, because she and Orpheus once loved each other, but Orpheus was given a second chance at life, and she hopes he doesn’t remember his past or he might hate her forever. Even though she has been sent on a mission, she can’t deny her feelings for this Guardian, who may be part demon, but in her mind he is far from a man without a soul. He is a hero, who on the surface acts with a devil may care personality, but underneath that tough shell, is a man she admires and loves more than life itself. When danger comes storming on their doorstep, she will do anything she can to save Orpheus even from himself.

Enrapture is quite a stimulating read and packed quite a punch. It had everything I would come to expect from this author and more. I was completely blown over by how well this story was written and it passed every expectation I had, and as a added plus, the narrator did a wonderful job in portraying the characters and tone of the story with the inflection of her voice, so it is a winner in my book. We have a second chance love story…which is always my favorite types, and their is a bit of a forbidden love, but boy do they overcome obstacles and find their way together. They were a great pair, and really had a connection, and in the beginning it is just physical, but as the story progresses we see much more depth to their relationship, and when you combine that with the exciting plot, you have quite a jewel.

Overall a  paranormal romance, mixed with danger and passion and quite a bit conflict, some hard to win battles, and a love that never dies….IRRESISTIBLE!!!
