There’s nothing like a hot kiss on a cold day…
Librarian Maureen O’Connell might have predicted she’d find herself crying into the ice cream case at the supermarket after a bad breakup—but she definitely never imagined that a guy hot enough to melt the Rocky Road would flirt with her right there in the freezer aisle. Only Gavin Fraser isn’t a fantasy, he’s a mouth-watering new flavor…
When a freak snowstorm strands Maureen at Gavin’s after just one date, it’s a perfect excuse for something a lot steamier than hot chocolate in front of the fire. It’s definitely lust. Can it also be love?

Maureen O Connoell has been in a relationship for over two years, and right after sex, the man she loves, breaks up with…when she is still naked. She definitely never saw it coming, and while at the grocery store looking at the ice cream, she finds herself crying her heart out, and a gorgeous stranger attempts to comfort her, makes her laugh, and what does she do, she attacks him and kisses him with everything in her. Not her brightest moments. But she never expected to see him again, in a parking lot, where he asks her out, they share lovely dinner and they get stuck in a snowstorm and are forced to end up at his place, and they share more than a fire to keep warm. Desire ignites and they can’t keep their hands off of each other. But after they both will have to decide if they truly love each other or if its just a momentary act of lust.
Snowed In is a short novella, only about 80 pages, so its definitely easy to breeze your way through. It is perfect for this time of year. Although it is not like we have had much snow yet and its almost Feb. But I can imagine it’s a blizzard outside, and this story has enough sexual tension to keep one warm at night. I did have a few issues with this story, and it all boils down to it being so short. It is really difficult to give a story substance and depth when its under 100 pages. But I do think this author did great with the sexual scenes, they were steamy, and perfect to warm you up, you don’t need any ole fire or heater when you have Snowed In to keep you warm.
Overall a sweet and spicy hot romance to keep you warm at night. FUN AND SEXY!!

I am not a fan of rolling from one romance into the other, but this sounds like fun.

Neither am I for the most part, because it just doesn’t fit who I am at all. I always wait a long while between relationships. but not everyone does, so in a way it wasn’t a bad set up for the story.
