“You had your chance, and you threw it away …”
Five years ago, Jen woke up with a ring on her finger and her fiancé nowhere to be found. She swore she’d gotten over the betrayal, but when Clay unexpectedly hires on with the rodeo for a week, she finds herself torn between passion and regret.
Clay left intending never to see Jen again. He’s been running from his troubled past for far too long, and it’s not a life he wants for her. But it’s hard to run from the past when the past is your own family, and Clay finds himself thrown back into the chaos he thought he’d finally left behind.
Will the truth drive Jen away, or is there a second chance at happily-ever-after for this runaway cowboy?
Why Runaway Cowboy?
I have so much love for this book….it was my first Kline romance and it certainly won’t be my last!!! She writes some of the best sweet western contemporaries. I definitely regret not reading more of her work than I already have. But what I loved about this book was how Kline portrays the culture so dang well. After reading this I wanted to hook a cowboy of my own hehe The romance between these two is fantastic, and for a novella—-it certainly packs a punch.
This sounds cute! I admit, I don’t read many cowboy/farm-y romances – not for any particular reason. I’ve not read a Kline book either. I’ll have to check this one out! =)

Oh I love a good cowboy romance and this author is totally new to me! Definitely checking this one out!
Ooh, don’t mind if I do….add this to my wish list. 🙂
mmm you had me at cowboy 😀
Glad you’re a fan of Kline’s as well! I’ve read a few of hers and she just *gets* the whole cowboy lifestyle. Plus she writes dreamy alpha guys… mmhmm…
I like what you say about her getting the culture right. And that blurb has my interest, too.
I’m not so into Western/Cowboy romances or second chance romances, but I’m glad you really loved this. Especially since it’s a novella.
I absolutely love second-chance romances, Renee, so I’m adding it to my shelves 🙂

Nice 🙂
I haven’t read anything by her and it looks like I need to change that ASAP. I love second chance romances too!
