She crossed the pond and lost her heartβ¦
What do they wear under those things?
So far, Kathie Williams has made a good showing as the only American at a mystery writersβ conference in Manchesterβ what with that falling asleep in public thing behind her.
The sight of Iain MacLaren wakes her up. Clad in a deliciously woolly sweater, the burly Scotsman seems to be holding up a wall at the cocktail party. So Kathie makes her moveβ¦and winds up stark naked with him in bed, where his thick Scottish brogue, thick manly chest, and thickβ¦ other partsβ¦drive her to do things sheβs never done before. Like fall in love.
And if things arenβt moving fast enoughβand on the wrong side of the road, no lessβKathie is about to visit Iainβs sheep farm in the Scottish Highlands and meet his sons. Sheβs feeling a wee bit nervous. Because she canβt tell where this mad affair is goingβexcept northβ¦
Why I LOVE Men In Kilts?
This is one of my favorite McAlister Books and man is it hilarious!!!! I love the way that she wrote this book and it was simply amazing and so well written. It is one of her older releases but is from a time when she rocked the pages. (I have struggled with her recent releases) I think the reason why I fell in love with this book so much was how fun and entertaining it was but still a solid romance. It didn’t feel cheesy or too light, I felt that it was packed with every aspect that made me fall in love with romance in the first place. It has real and true substance!!! Its simply a wonderful book . The heroine of the story is a writes (so she is very bookish) and goes to England for a conference. She meets a sexy Scot, and at first its just a “fling” but then she goes up to Scotland with him and meets his boys and at this point is where the story really blossoms in the love department.
You must be so excited about your big move. Nervous, too, like you said. But it sounds like a great new adventure.
oh Quinn!!! I just can’t wait to be honest. I mean its been stressful trying to get everything ready for it but its also an adventure too since I have never done anything this bold before hehe
oh boy moving can be exciting and stressful I hope it goes smooth for you. You seemed like you had a wonderful month of Sept. I am ready for fall, I love the fall and the colors. Give me the sweaters and bring it on heh
oh I agree!!! So stressful at times, but hopefully once I get settled things will calm down for me. I do love fall too, but I love that I won’t have to deal with long winter cold months anymore hehe
I wish you a wonderful time in Dallas!
oh Thank you Aurian….I am pretty excited.
That is a long trip, good audios are sure needed π
oh it sure is, and its been so long since I have driven such a long way so I have to have those audiobooks to keep me from going stir crazy.
Phew, look at you go! So many awesome books. A twenty-hour drive is a good opportunity to knock some books off the TBR, right? π I loved Destined for a King, and I’m really glad to see a four-star rating from you! I can’t wait for the next book. =)
Have a lovely week!
