Libby Fay’s safe little life as a waitress at a posh New York boutique hotel implodes when Sheikh Rasyn Al Jabar, black-eyed and seductive, crashes into her world and swears that he loves her.
The powerful sheikh will do anything to prevent becoming the ruler of his North African homeland, including marrying a woman who is inappropriate to be queen. When he sees the beautiful, bubbly waitress, he knows that she is the perfect wife to help him avoid the throne—all he has to do is make her fall in love with him.
All her life, Libby has longed for the same loving, equal partnership her parents had—something she couldn’t possibly have with a forceful sheikh who ignores all her objections. But Rasyn seems to be able to charm her into anything, including his bed. Soon, she finds herself on a plane to Abbas, transported into a fairy tale come true.
Unfortunately for Libby, a Cinderella is the last thing this Prince Charming wants.
Why I LOVE Cinderella and the Sheikh?
I read this one a few years back for a author request and it was one of those requests I was so glad I accepted after I had picked it up. Its a cinderella themed trope dealing with a sexy Sheikh for a hero. Our heroine is a waitress at a hotel where she meets Rasyn. I really enjoyed seeing this story come to life. The heroine is what really makes this story so memorable. She is solid and real and I love how she deals with her new change of circumstances. The romance is quite heart warming
Once upon a time, I couldn’t get enough of Sheik romance books. You’re making me want to read this!
oh there is something about Sheikh romances that get to me every single time!! I can never get enough of them.
Ahh…. glad to see an oldie but a goodie. Sounds like a fun, sweet, escape type of read.
I do love those oldie ones!!! So wonderful. And its the perfect read to escape life from.
It is rare for me to find a heroine that is memorable. Usually I do enjoy them but it is the heroes that does it for me. I get excited when the heroine is amazing.
oh I hear ya. Heroes stick with a reader more, but when you find a heroine you can stand behind its much more satisfying.
Sounds fun! I haven’t read too many sheikhs lately. Or Cinderella themes. Hm!
I love both hehe Sheikh romances just get to me…just luv them.
WHOA STEAM! This cover does intrigue me!!
