From the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the With Me in Seattle Series comes the end of a saga…
Dominic Salvatore seemingly has everything a man could want. He’s found a new relationship with his father and the entire Montgomery family. His vineyard, Cuppa di Vita, is a success. There’s only one thing that eludes him: a certain driven, intelligent, and sexy as hell blonde named Alecia.
Alecia works tirelessly building her event planning business. It’s the most important part of her life. Despite the beautiful, lavish weddings she organizes, Alecia is convinced that the idea of true love is a myth. While Dominic is a sexy, intriguing man, welcoming the handsome Italian into her bed, and her life, is a risk she’s not so sure she’s willing to take.
However Dominic isn’t used to taking no for an answer, and it’s not long before these two are burning up the sheets and discovering a connection that neither can deny. But will it be strong enough to last forever?
“I’m going to eventually make you understand how amazing you are, tesoro.” – Dominic Salvatore
Forever With Me is the eight book in the series and I have been so EXCITED to read this one, I have been waiting for this book for a while now. Both the hero and the heroine have been side characters in previous books and I just couldn’t wait to pick this book up here. The families that are featured in this series are a blast but I just love these Montgomery Family, they are so fun to read and they are so close knit and I just love how well they come together at the right time and are the best support for each other.
In Forever With Me the couple that we get to see is Dominic and Alecia. Now Dominic is a newer addition to the family. We learn about him I believe in the book “Tied With Me” where we learn that when the Montgomery parents were having marriage problems, they were seperated and the father had a relationship with another woman before getting back with his wife and this is where Dominic comes in….he is the product of the “other” affair and with his mom having recently passed away he wanted to know his birth father and the family he never really had a relationship until now. At first, there was quite a bit of tension in the family because of the circumstances but now Dominic is a full fledged member of the family and is just as close to them as the other. He grew up in Italy and when he received his inheritance he decided to start his own dream vineyard near Seattle.
Alecia is the head of a event planning business, mostly dealing with weddings but ironically she doesn’t believe in happy ever afters or in true love. Alecia hasn’t had the best luck in her parents, who never appreciated or showed their love for her. They viewed her as a mistake and always shoved her to the side and she had to become self sufficient to survive. Her romantic relationships haven’t ever gone right and she feels like she isn’t deserving of love. But she loves planning events and she has grown very close to the Montgomery clan…especially the women who have become good friends. But there is one member of the family that is proving to be a challenge….Dominic Salvatore. She doesn’t trust his charming manner or his smile that gives her tingles or that sexy italian accent that weakens her resolve to reject him. But Dominic is determined to prove to Alecia he is worth taking a chance on but Alecia fears what she could have with Dominic and that she will be just a disappointment and that he will want more from her than she can give him.
Forever With Me was simply a divine romance and even though it was a bit predictable, as some books in this series tend to be….it doesn’t take away my enjoyment from this book. I have truly had a blast with the Montgomery family and I couldn’t wait for Dominic and Alecia’s book. The previous couple of books we have seen the sexual tension between these two grow so I was simply fascinated in seeing how Kristen Proby would make this work. Now the hero….is simply endearing. I pretty much loved everything about him despite the big mess he makes towards the end of the book but you understand why he reacts the way that he does.View Spoiler » I loved his italian wordings and the narrator did a great job in portraying his italian accents and charm. The heroine is so STUBBORN….I will admit that at times I just didn’t understand her resistance against Dominic or her lack of faith in love. But I did find her thinking about love and HEA understandable in some ways, she protects herself because she has been hurt so much by putting a wall around herself. But Dominic is just as stubborn as Alecia is and wants to show her that LOVE does exist and how devoted he is towards her.
Love doesn’t hurt you, tesoro. People who don’t know how to love hurt you
The way their romance develops is quite heart wrenching at times, I will admit. It wasn’t always easy to listen to this book because of the hardship that our heroine especially has to overcome and realizing her true worth and the journey she takes on. We see her overcome so many things that become her strengths and the courage she has to take certain leaps of faith to get what she deserves and demands. Its not an easy road for her, and Dominic will have to prove that he is worthy at times, but he does it and these two become stronger than ever both as individuals and as a pair.
I’ve been slowly falling for you for a long time, and I’m afraid I fell the rest of the way in love with you last night, and you’re so much more than my darling. You’re my treasure
Forever With Me was simply a divine romance that brings together the battle of true love and discovering your individual self worth and this story is the testament of courage in the search for true love and happiness!! FANTASTICALLY WRITTEN

In New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby’s brand new series, five best friends open a hot new restaurant, but one of them gets much more than she bargained for when a sexy former rock star walks through the doors—and into her heart.
Seduction is quickly becoming the hottest new restaurant in Portland, and Addison Wade is proud to claim 1/5 of the credit. She’s determined to make it a success and can’t think of a better way to bring in new customers than live music. But when former rock star Jake Keller swaggers through the doors to apply for the weekend gig, she knows she’s in trouble. Addie instantly recognizes him—his posters were plastered all over her bedroom walls in high school—he’s all bad boy...exactly her type and exactly what she doesn’t need.
Jake Keller walked away from the limelight five years ago and yearns to return to what’s always driven him: the music. If he gets to work for a smart-mouthed, funny-as-hell bombshell, all the better. But talking Addie into giving him the job is far easier than persuading her that he wants more than a romp in her bed. Just when she begins to drop her walls, Jake’s past finally catches up with him.
Will Addie be torn apart once again or will Jake be able to convince her to drown out her doubts and listen to her heart?
Listen To Me is the first book in the Fusion series and I have been wanting to read these books so badly. I have recently been hooked on Kristen Proby, and I have really enjoyed her writing style. They don’t work for everyone, but let me tell you ….her books TOTALLY work for me so I was curious about this new series and since I am almost done with the “With Me In Seattle” series, I knew I had to try these books out and they are closely related to the Seattle series which is cool. Its a series about five women who start a restaurant together. This restaurant is a sexy one, which is called “Seduction” that brings in a romantic element to fine wine and dining. Their goal is to make it a sensual atmosphere that brings in couples.
The first book here “Listen To You” and this features Addison Wade and Jake Weller. Addison Wade has had a bad history of falling in love with the bad boys who just happen to be rock stars or musicians and end up cheating on her and breaking her heart. Her current boyfriend she has recently found cheating on her and she is DONE with rock stars and the bad boys. Now she wants some boring CPA or lawyer. But when the five women decide to go in search for a musician to bring in the perfect mood music for Seduction, they find someone they never expected to find wanting a job —the infamous Jake Keller who was the leader of a very famous band who broke up years previous.
There is some strong sexual chemistry between Addison and Jake. Addison is very bitter at the moment especially against the male species which is understandable. But Jake, is nothing like the men she has dated in the past. He has his own sorrows and torments, and is just trying to live with what he blames himself for which he believe he is at fault for causing his best friend to lose her leg and having troubles getting pregnant. She was also the friend that woke him up to his decline from drugs and women and gave him the wake up call he needed to get his life together. But now Jake has started a business with a good friend and one of the members of the band they played together with. Where they have a music studio and help other musicians get their music recorded. But Addison begins to see that Jake is different and starts to open herself up to Jake slowly. But will Jake’s fears keep him from the best woman he could ever fall for?
I simply adored Listen To Me and I can’t believe that I took so long in reading this book, its simply a fabulous book and I just fell in love with it so much. This was a bit different from most rock star romances that you see. We see the focus being a lone musician who has a deep reverence for all music and a heroine who is independent and strong and searching for a love of her own. They both have painful pasts but are trying to overcome them to be the best they can be. I love what we see them both bring to the relationship here and that they both make some mistakes. Jake more than Addison to be honest, but we see that true value of second chances and forgiveness.
“YOU KNOW, YOU have a membership to this gym,” I remind Cami as we begin walking side by side on the treadmills. She’s glaring at hers, as though it’s an evil entity. “I know. And I came here, once.” “Once?” I chuckle and increase my speed. “I had these horrible side effects. I got sweaty. I was out of breath. My legs were shaky. I’m pretty sure that all means that this is not good for me. I mean, I couldn’t breathe, Addie.”
As a plus we also see such a vital friendship between these five women and my goodness I wish they were my REAL Friends hehe because they truly value each other and have each other’s backs and support one another the way that true friends really should in real life. I just love how they protect and laugh together and what a lovely business they have started together.
“Addie, I can’t promise you that there won’t be times I fuck up or that things won’t ever feel broken.” His voice is a shaky whisper, his mouth planted against my temple. “But I can promise you that I will never walk away from us.”
Us.
Not me. Us.
I hug him tighter as tears form at the corners of my eyes. “That’s the best promise you can make.”
Overall I found Listen To Me to be a vibrant and full of life romance that brings together food and music together in such a harmonious way….A TRUE TUNE OF LOVE AND SENSUALITY
