EEK!!! I can hardly believe that I have been blogging for eight fantastic years. It feels like yesterday when I wrote my first post and discovered some the most amazing bloggers up until now and what a journey it has been.

Happy anniversary! How wonderful that you’ve been blogging for so long!
Thank you darling..that is so sweet. It has been a long time but honestly it doesn’t feel that long. Looking forward to seeing what happens in the next eight years. And yes I will still be here hehe
Wow… Happy blogiversary. 8 years? Wow.. AMAZING. MINE is not even 5 months yet. I don’t know if I can make it a year, let alone 8 years. ?β€οΈ??
OH Thank you darling. Yes its been eight years. Having a blog has been a passion for me. Mostly because no one in my personal life supports what I read, and this is the one place that I can express my love for romance novels, and not having others make me feel ashamed about it. There is such a great blogging community and I have made some of the best friendships on here. Keep going strong. It is a commitment and takes hard work, but gives me such fulfillment. And the time goes by so quickly. I still can ‘t believe that its been that long, it definitely doesn’t feel that long.
Oh, wow! Happy eighth birthday to you! I hope you plan to re-read a favorite on this anniversary. π
oh yes I already having A Loving Scoundrel by Johanna Lindsey (which is one of my favorites) to read tonight.
Wow!! 8 years is seriously impressive. Congrats! And here’s to many many many more years of blogging about all the romance books. π
Thank Nick!! Definitely been a fantastic eight years and can’t wait to see what happens over the next eight years.
Congrats on 8 years!! That is amazing!

I can’t believe you’ve been doing this for 8 years and we just recently found each other! Crazy.
Anyway, happy anniversary!
Thank you darling. I can’t believe its been so long and I am still meeting fabulous people including yours truly π Excited to see what the next eight years will bring.
Happy Blogaversary!!!!!
Oh my gosh, congrats! 8 years! That’s amazing. I have been blogging for 5 and love it. Definitely making friends is the best. And I love getting book recommendations and talking about books I love.
Participating in Historical Romance 101 was definitely one of my favorite things ever.
Wow! 8 years is something to be proud of. Congratulations! Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.
Huwaw!
8 years?! That’s a great accomplishment! What was the book blogging sphere like back then? I mean I ask because I feel like I still have/follow a lot of bloggers that are the same age as mine but you are rare, my friend.
Congrats!
haha Thanks Braine!!! The blogging sphere was different for sure. Only top notch blogs that had over 1.000 followers ever received ARC’s and they were always the mailed kind. A lot more giveaways bloggers did back than too to create a bigger following, but there were a ton more bloggers in the romance genre than now. The first few years I started blogging it was actually most romance bloggers or general fiction blogs, YA hadn’t become popular at all yet. Many of those bloggers though no longer blog which is so sad for me since many of my blogging friends from the beginning no longer blog. But a few are still around like TBQ Book Palace, Smexy Books, and Bitten By Romance. It was very different back then though, a bit more formal than it is now. Less book tours, most bloggers back then did everything on their own and were more “go after” the authors and get interviews directly from them by email. I learned a lot from them back then though, seeing how organized these bloggers were and really helped me get started with a solid foundation. It was way more work than now a days I feel. Its feels more more easy going to blog now than when I first started because back then blogging was different, good and I do feel like the support system was different. It was a bigger circle of bloggers than it is now. For example my blogroll of bloggers to visit was over 300 and now its under 80. But yes its rare to have a blog to be around for so long. But you know I love blogging as much as I did then, and didn’t let the stress of blogging get to me, it is my emotional therapy and it just invigorates me. But it has been so wonderful to meet so many wonderful bloggers and readers out there who share my passion for reading including you my friend. Its sad though to see some leave the blogging world but its also great to meet new ones and create new friendships too. Hope you are well and had a wonderful Easter weekend.
Happy 8th Blogiversary to you! That’s quite an accomplishment, my friend! π I’m so glad you’re still as passionate about the romance genre and enjoy blogging as much as ever. It’s a wonderful community, isn’t it? Here’s to many more years of blogging!
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY my friend! /confetti!
I love that your most memorable read is Devil in Winter π
Super 8!!!! I think I’ve only been following for half that time. Impressive for sure. Love seeing your stats for your eight years- 170 countries and over 1400 reviews. Whew! I shamefully admit that I still need to read Kleypas. You do love your romances and it shines through in your reviews and other book-ish posts. Love stopping by to see what you have for me each time even if it means adding to my huginormous wish list and TBR pile. π
Oh my gosh, Renee! Happy blogaversary, you totally rock! Eight years is definitely a feat, and you keep on going so very strong! I’m always happy when I find myself here in your little part of the interwebs, and I hope you’ll have many more years with reading, reviewing and chatting about books! *hugs*
