Red Thorns is a dark new adult book that contains dubious situations some readers might find offensive and/or triggering.
This book is part of a duet and is not standalone.

This author is one I have known about for a while, as I have seen her books around, but it wasn’t until a trust friend that talked me into reading this author, and so I decided on this duet. And as a plus its on kindle unlimited, I will say that even though I was drawn into the story, I found it a very interesting dynamic here. I did find It such a quick read but I wasn’t fully invested in the story. I found it very compelling in many respects, but I also wasn’t sure if I was on board or not through some of the story. It is actually a story I never imagined would play out the way that it did, and it was a very unique experience. Now is it my top read of the year? Naw its not. But its an intriguing journey of a read with lots of secrets and unknowns that you need to get to the second book to get….so typical me I jump right into book two with no reservations. So in some ways this author definitely worked for me.
